The Fractured Path

A New Mission Begins

The tension in Haven was suffocating. Even after Ethan's return from the void, no one could shake the unease lingering in the air. The war room was silent except for the low hum of the holo-table, its blue light casting eerie shadows over the team's faces.

Ethan stood at the center, arms crossed, golden-shadow energy still faintly flickering at his fingertips. He had changed—again. Stronger, more in control. But the Rift's warning still echoed in his mind.

Mia's voice broke the silence. "So, what's the plan?"

Selene exhaled slowly. "Isolde. We track her down, we get her back."

Kieran tapped rapidly on his console. "Easier said than done. There's been no comms from her since the battle. It's like she vanished off the grid."

Orion, leaning against the wall, arms crossed, spoke up. "Then we assume the worst." His voice was grim. "She was taken."
