Kael's Fall – A Descent Without End
Darkness.
Not the kind that comes with nightfall.
Not the kind found in the corners of a forgotten room.
This was something deeper. Something alive.
Kael was falling.
His body twisted through the abyss, weightless, yet the pressure was suffocating—like unseen hands wrapping around his limbs, pulling him deeper into the void. There was no wind, no gravity, no air.
Yet, he felt everything.
> Where am I?
His golden eyes flickered open—only to find nothing.
No sky. No ground. Just an endless expanse of shifting blackness, stretching beyond comprehension. Space itself twisted, bending at impossible angles. There was no horizon, no point of reference—just the feeling that he was sinking into something that had no bottom.
His muscles tensed. Instinct took over.
He reached for his sword—and found nothing.
His fingers closed around empty space.
His heart pounded.
