Chapter 14: Betrayal and Deceit

As Luca's words hung in the air, Kristen felt a wave of panic wash over her. What had he done? And how was she going to get out of this situation?

Victor's eyes narrowed. "Luca, you're not going to get away with this," he growled.

Luca just smiled. "Oh, I think I will," he said. "You see, I have the upper hand here. And with this recording, I can do whatever I want."

Kristen's mind was racing. She had to think of something, and fast. But what could she do?

Suddenly, Victor sprang into action. He lunged at Luca, grabbing him by the throat. "You're not going to hurt Antonio," he snarled.

Luca's eyes bulged as Victor's grip tightened. But just as it seemed like Victor was going to throttle him, Luca's eyes flicked to Kristen.

And in that moment, Kristen saw something that made her blood run cold. A glimmer of recognition. A spark of understanding.

Luca knew something about her. Something that she didn't want anyone to know

As Victor's grip on Luca's throat tightened, Kristen felt a surge of fear. What was Luca going to reveal about her?

But before Luca could say anything, Victor's phone rang. He hesitated for a moment before releasing Luca and answering the call.

"What is it?" Victor growled into the phone.

Kristen watched as Victor's expression changed from anger to concern. "What do you mean Antonio's gone missing?" he demanded.

Luca's eyes flicked to Kristen, and she saw a glimmer of triumph there. He knew something, and he was going to use it to his advantage.

Victor's voice was low and urgent. "I need you to track Antonio's phone," he said. "Find out where he is."

Kristen felt a surge of fear. Where was Antonio? And why had he gone missing?

As Victor continued to talk on the phone, Luca began to back away, a sly smile spreading across his face.

"You'll never find him," Luca sneered. "And even if you do, it will be too late."

Kristen's eyes narrowed. What did Luca mean?

Victor's voice was cold and deadly. "You're going to regret saying that, Luca," he growled.

But Luca just laughed. "I'm not afraid of you, Victor," he said. "I have insurance."

And with that, Luca turned and ran, disappearing into the shadows.

Victor's eyes locked onto Kristen's. "We need to find Antonio," he said. "Now."

Kristen nodded, her heart racing. Where was Antonio? And what had Luca done to him?

As they set off to search for Antonio, Kristen couldn't shake the feeling that they were running out of time.

Luca's words echoed in her mind. "You'll never find him."

But Kristen was determined to prove Luca wrong. She was going to find Antonio, no matter what it took.

As they searched the estate, Kristen's anxiety grew. Where was Antonio? And why had he gone missing?

Victor's phone rang, and he answered it, his expression grim. "What is it?" he growled.

Kristen watched as Victor's expression changed from concern to shock. "What do you mean Antonio's been kidnapped?" he demanded.

Kristen's heart skipped a beat. Kidnapped? Who had taken Antonio?

Victor's voice was low and urgent. "We need to get him back," he said. "Now."

Kristen nodded, her mind racing. Who had taken Antonio? And how were they going to get him back?

As they set off to rescue Antonio, Kristen couldn't shake the feeling that they were in grave danger.

Luca's words echoed in her mind. "You'll never find him."

But Kristen was determined to prove Luca wrong. She was going to find Antonio, no matter what it took.

And as they journeyed deeper into the heart of danger, Kristen knew that she was ready to face whatever lay ahead.

She was ready to fight for Antonio.
