The fleeing goblins would occasionally glance back, seeing that the terrifying enemy was still following, and immediately began to call out in various pitches to alert their companions.

"Set traps at the lair! Take this enemy down!"

This, of course, was exactly what Tristan wanted.

Previously, he could have wiped out all the goblins, but there was no need to. If he killed them all, who would lead him to the lair?

The trade routes to Davi City were long, and the surrounding terrain was complex. If he went to find the goblin lair by himself, it would take quite a bit of time. But if a goblin guided him, it would be much easier.

There was, however, a significant risk involved.

Not only were there a large number of regular goblins in the lair, but also goblin shamans, goblin archers, and other special types. With both ranged and melee attacks, and their large numbers, they could be a real headache.
