What? What does he mean I have to train with Roi?
"Why?"
Rose folded her arms as she looked at me. "Because your body is extremely unstable, and you don't know how to fully control it," She explained.
That's true... but why Roi?
"Silvey, don't worry so much. Roi is a great teacher—he even taught me how to shoot through boulders." Lily said with a smile.
"Okay..." I halfheartedly replied.
It wasn't that I was underestimating Roi; it was just that... what if I don't live up to everyone's standards after being trained by one of the strongest vampires in existence?
"Silvey, what's wrong?" Lily asked.
"Nothing, I just have a lot to think about."
Rose eyed Lily and then looked back at me. "We'll give you some time alone, so sort out your feelings until tomorrow when your training begins."
I gave a nod and went back to lying on the bed after they left.
What should I do? There's the problem with me being a Fallen, having to go to Eclipsys to look for an item I don't even know about, and now the expectations I'm feeling.
I deeply sighed.
I feel like pushing all these problems onto someone else. Why did it have to be me going through all this?
I kept thinking such thoughts—almost to the point of depression—but then something popped into my head like a flaming needle: a memory of my mother.
***
A beautiful woman with silver hair touching the floor, her appearance like that of a flawless doll. She was my mother.
"Silver, always remember: never stop having fun. No matter what problems you face, keep smiling," she said, patting me on the shoulders.
"Okay," I said with the brightest smile.
She hugged me, and I hugged her.
Then, it started to fade into darkness.
***
Even though the memory went black, I could still remember it. I also knew how my mother looked—yes, how could I have forgotten?
My mind feels clear. I feel excited—no, anticipation—no, joy?
A mix of positive feelings started flowing over me. Why did I feel like this? Was it because of that memory?
I also remembered my first and most important goal: becoming stronger.
And I've begun to start feeling confident. I looked past Vampire Lord. Now, I wanted to become a Progenitor—no, even beyond that? No vampire except our Founding Ancestor went beyond Progenitor. What did he experience going past our race's limits?
A wide smile started to form on my face. My heart started to beat out of my chest. Is this what they call elation?
I had forgotten my very nature. When did I become so stuck up? When did I stop enjoying life?
I finally started to realize I needed to become the best version of myself by breaking out of the hardened shell that had formed around me, and the first step to achieving that would be evolution.
I was afraid to evolve, but I feel like if I don't do it now, I'll never be able to achieve my goals. Finally, it's time for me to change.
"Sei," I mumbled.

"I will choose Ancient Vampire Lord."
There's no doubt—this was my plan from the start, to become a Lord. I don't know about the "Ancient" part, but with this, I'll have finished my smallest goal.
As soon as I chose my evolution, I could hear a soft and gentle voice. It was a voice I could never forget—the fairy that gave me my magical elements. Her beautiful voice echoed in my head.

As the voice stopped, I could feel my body begin to change, inside and out. Yet I still couldn't lift a finger.
It felt as if time passed slowly until I heard the voice again.
[Evolution Successful]
I opened my eyes, still a bit dazed, but I could feel my body had changed. It felt stronger. As I got out of bed and moved towards the mirror that stood next to it on the drawer, I could see that I had grown taller.
I looked in the mirror to see a handsome black-haired young man. It was me.
"Is this really me?" I exclaimed, feeling my face.
My voice had also become a bit deeper and more refined.
I was shocked. How did I change this much? I knew that when one becomes a Lord, their body changes to when it will be at its peak, but still... it wasn't just my appearance that changed—my body also became more muscular. I felt like I could punch right through a boulder.
I swung my arm and a gust of wind formed blowing up the bed covers. Not only that I could feel the magion course through my veins, the amount I previously had doubled.
I went back to sit on the bed to check the most important thing— my new element.
I've definitely become much stronger since before my evolution. And my locked element was ice, but what does it mean by "True"? Let's try and make a spell to see how it works.
