Mommy Dearest

"Kieran Darkmoon! You unfilial bastard! Get out here right this instant!"

Kieran stood up, brushing his robes off with a dark look on his face before instantly coming to a conclusion as to who might be that was shouting for him.

Laylia looked at Kieran with confusion but made no other movements as she wasn't entirely sure whether this voice was friend or foe.

"Kieran! You have to the count of ten to appear before me or else I will tear apart this tiny Divine Sword Sect to find you!"

"One…Two…Three…Four…"

Kieran sighed softly before moving to the door and opening the immortal cave by rolling the stone to the side.

"It's fine, mom. I'm here." Kieran spoke softly as if the voice was not completely covering the entire sect but was actually close by.

More surprising however was that instantaneously a short yet incredibly beautiful woman with raven black hair popped into existence right next to him before grabbing his head and shoving it in between her enormous pair of breasts with a raised leg and making cute sounds.

"You dirty, stinky boy! How could you possibly run away from mommy!? I was so worried! I thought that another clan had taken you and when I killed them all and didn't find you there with them, I feared that the worst had happened! Mommy even went on an expedition to find you and destroyed two sects who refused to say anything at all! Oh baby I was so worried. Mommy is glad. Mommy is so glad."

Lilian Darkmoon started to cry tears of joy as she held Kieran and talked about her mass murder of tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of cultivators as if it were a normal occurrence.

Knowing he needed to be careful with this psycho, Kieran decided to play it safe.

"I'm sorry mom. I was bored in our clan and wanted to go on an adventure like in those books I read to see the world. I found my way here before I was captured for trespassing in their beast hunting territory. After a while, I eventually became a disciple and even found out that I have a lot of talent!"

Lilian's eyes darkened before she went silent.

Slowly, dense red and black Qi started to radiate from her body, before slowly expanding more and more into a great typhoon.

Instantly numerous sect elders locked in on the location of the trespasser who had disturbed the sect and started to appear one by one flying in the sky with unfriendly expressions. Numerous core disciples were even peeking from their abodes in fear and confusion not entirely sure what was happening.

"Halt! You are trespassing on the Divine…sword….sects..." The discipline elder, Anna started in a commanding tone before her voice became more and more meek as the pressure of Lilian descended upon her and she felt as if she was suffocating and couldn't breathe. The pressure was so intense she was even pushed to the ground and forced to kneel.

"My dear sweet sweet boy…was…captured? By a group of... fucking harlots?….Tell me….Did you touch him?"

Lilian spoke in her soft and delicate voice, but nobody dared utter a word in her presence.

Kieran felt that things might get very very dangerous for his sect if he didn't speak up now.

"Mommy dearest, these people didn't lay a finger on me. I was treated with dignity and respect befitting a member of our esteemed clan. In fact, I even joined their sect to experience what that is like! So, please, for me, please don't cause trouble here. I'll do anything you ask."

Hearing Kieran say this, Lilian's aura instantly vanished without a trace, as if the demon king himself granted a pardon and she turned to Kieran with glowing eyes.

"You mean it? You'll do anything?" She spoke with great enthusiasm and anticipation truly hoping he meant his words.

"I mean it. But you have to keep your word. Not a hair on a single disciples head is to be touched, or else I'll never call you Mom again." Kieran spoke with resolution but a light shake in his legs nearly betrayed him as he spoke to this demon in beautiful skin.

Lilian gasped in shock for a moment, the seriousness of the situation now evident.

Her expression brightened quickly however when she thought about what his words meant.

"Then it's a deal!" She said with a beautiful smile that made the world around her dim.

"But my dear beautiful boy, you mustn't go back on your words or else I'll kill everyone here and forbid you from playing outside ever again! Teehee!" Speaking with a casualness that reinforced her psychotic tendencies, she placed her hands below her chest, accentuating her voluptuous chest and swayed innocently side to side with a gleeful smile on her face, not a word nor an ounce of the deadly aura emanating from her body.

Kieran sighed softly, thanking himself for not misspeaking or messing up somehow.

"Sorry, An-Grand Elder Anna. This is Lilian Darkmoon. My mother."

Saying this, Anna and anyone else who heard Kieran suddenly gawked like a fish, their jaws hitting the floor.

"Y-y-y-you mean…THE Lilian Darkmoon?! And then…you're her SON?!" She spoke in reverence and fear.

"Sigh. Yes. I do mean that Lilian Darkmoon. And yes, I am." Kieran sighed and began rubbing his temples. This was a conversation he had hoped to avoid, though knowing his mother, he didn't know why he expected her to just let him go.

Grand Elder Anna stood there without uttering a word for a while before she made a weird smile and finally spoke words Kieran never expected.

"Understandable. Have a nice day."
