It was only then that Asher suddenly remembered a promise he had made long ago.

He had said that if I were willing to wake up, he would give away his entire fortune to thank the heavens.

Now, even without giving it away, it was almost gone anyway, so he might as well be proactive about it.

So he couldn't be bothered to argue anymore.

"Forget it, you guys keep shopping. I have something to take care of, so I'll be going now."

With that, Asher turned and left. Haisley watched his retreating figure with a smug smile on her face.

Three years of her efforts hadn't been in vain after all.

But soon after, when they finished shopping and returned home, Haisley received a message from her brother.

"Sis, what's going on? Why did your husband dissolve the company? The court officials are here kicking everyone out."

"What?" Haisley was shocked beyond belief.

She couldn't fathom why Asher would do such a thing, nor could she understand his reasoning behind it.
