Chapter 6

"Why have you been ignoring me recently? Didn't we have an understanding that I'd always be there for you?"

Bonnie gazed at Tessa with a hurt expression.

I scoffed quietly beside them.

He pretended to just notice me, rubbing his head sheepishly.

"Older brother, your health isn't what it used to be. Why do you insist on holding onto sister-in-law? She deserves better."

I let out a bitter chuckle.

"Better? You mean letting her be with you?"

Bonnie looked at me defiantly.

"Brother, since we're at this point, I'll be honest."

"I'm thankful you raised me, but when it comes to love, it's every person for themselves."

"Sister-in-law doesn't love you, you can't force her. Set her free."

I found his naivety laughable.

"Didn't your sister-in-law just tell you moments ago that she still claims the baby is mine?"

Bonnie's expression shifted instantly.

Before he could respond, Tessa's face changed first.

"Enough!" Tessa glared at me.
