Meeting Vivian

The location Vivian had chosen was a small diner very far away from town, a quiet place Lily had never been to before.

It wasn't crowded—just a few people sipping coffee and eating in silence. The dull lighting and low sounds of conversations made the place feel almost too intimate, adding to the nervousness she already had in her stomach.

She stepped inside, her eyes looking at the room until it landed on a woman in the corner. Vivian Blackwood.

Vivian had an air of authority about her. Her dark hair was neatly tied back, and her sharp, confident features made her stand out even in such a modest setting.

She wore a black suit over a silk blouse, her polished appearance a very huge difference to the simple diner.

Lily took a calming breath and walked toward her. Each step felt heavy, the folder in her bag weighing her down as if it was full of stones.

When Lily reached the table, Vivian looked up, a faint smile forming on her lips.

"Lily Anderson," Vivian said, moving toward the seat across from her. "I wasn't sure you'd come."

"I need answers," Lily replied, sliding onto a chair. She placed her trembling hands on the table, trying to keep her voice steady. "You said you had them."

Vivian's smile took time , though it didn't reach her eyes. "Straightforward. I like that." She took a slow sip from her coffee cup, setting it down carefully before coming forward. "First, tell me what you already know."

Lily hesitated, her thoughts immediately reaching to the photographs and video. "I know Adrian and I got married. I know neither of us is able to remember it. But now, I'm not so sure."

Vivian shook her head, her expression turning very serious. "You believe him? That he doesn't remember?"

The question hit Lily like a slap. She blinked, suddenly unsure. Did she believe Adrian? She had wanted to, but the more she thought about it, the more doubts she saw in his story.

"I don't know," she finally admitted. "That's why I'm here."

Vivian's eyes changed.. "Let me tell you something about my brother. Adrian isn't the man you think he is."

Lily frowned her face, her heart racing. "What do you mean?"

Vivian leaned back, her fingers touching the edge of her cup. "Did Adrian ever tell you about our family? About what he's really like?"

Lily shook her head. "No. He did not, and I didn't care to ask him about it either."

Vivian's tone was cold. "He's been hiding things from you, Lily. Things you deserve to know."

Lily leaned closer, her pulse racing. "What are you talking about?"

Vivian's eyes locked onto hers. "You and Adrian were close once. You just don't remember."

Lily's stomach twisted . "That's not true. I barely knew him before any of this happened."

Vivian's lips curled up into a very bitter smile. "That's what he wants you to believe. But the truth is, you guys were Much more."

Lily's breath caught in her throat. Her mind drifted with so many thoughts as she searched for any memory, any little evidence that Vivian's words could be true. But there was nothing—just blank spaces and confusion.

"What are you saying?" Lily whispered.

"I'm saying Adrian remembers everything," Vivian said firmly. "Your so-called marriage, your history with him—it's all part of his plan."

Lily felt like air had been knocked out of her lungs. "No. That's not possible. He wouldn't lie about something like that."

Vivian's eyes turned serious. "Wouldn't he? Adrian has always been calculating. And you, Lily? You're just another piece in his game."

Lily's voice shaked. "Why would he do this?"

Vivian leaned closer, her voice low as if what she wanted to say should not be heard by anyone. "Because of your inheritance. Adrian's been planning this for a long time. Marrying you wasn't a mistake. It was a strategy."

Lily's chest tightened, her thoughts drifting. "He doesn't care about money. He's not like that."

But Vivian laughed with a. very silly tone . "You think you know him, but you don't. Adrian has always been ambitious, willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead. And right now, you're his way in."

Lily could not believe what she had just heard, her hands trembling in her lap. "You're lying."

Vivian's voice softened, but her words were no less pleasing. "I wish I were. But if you really think about it, you'll see the truth.

Ask yourself this: if Adrian doesn't remember the wedding, why hasn't he tried harder to figure out what happened? Why are you the only one trying to dig deeper into what happened?"

Lily's heart sank. She wanted to argue, to defend Adrian, but Vivian's words had already sunk deep into her thoughts, spreading doubt like poison. The folder in her bag felt even heavier than ever.

Vivian stood, smoothing her sui. "You're smart, Lily. I think you'll figure it out eventually. Just be careful. My brother doesn't like losing."

Before Lily could respond, Vivian turned and walked out of the diner, leaving her alone in the dark . The quiet sounds in the diner suddenly felt unheard , pressing down on her as she tried to make sense of what she had just heard.

Lily stared at the coffee cup in front of her, her mind a mixture of questions. Could Adrian really have planned all this? Was everything she thought she knew about him a lie? And if it was, what did that mean for her?

She didn't have the answers—not yet. But one thing was clear: she couldn't trust anyone now.. Not Adrian. Not even herself.

The drive to Adrian's office felt like an eternity. Her knuckles whitened as she held onto the steering wheel, her thoughts a huge mess.

Vivian's claims replayed in her head, each one feeling like a blow: Adrian remembers everything. He's been lying to you. He married you for your inheritance.

By the time she reached his office building, anger and betrayal was filled through her veins. She walked past the surprised receptionist and ignored her plea of not entering the office.throwing open the heavy wooden door to Adrian's private office.

Adrian looked up from his desk, his piercing blue eyes reaching on to the intrusion. He stood, buttoning his suit jacket, his composed attitude breaking slightly when he saw the storm in her eyes.

"Lily? What—"

"Save it," she snapped, slamming the door behind her. She dropped her bag on the desk, pulling out the folder and throwing it in front of him. The impact made the pens on his desk scatter. "Explain this."

Adrian's eyebrows raised as he opened the folder, his gaze looking through the photos, the video, the documentation. His jaw tightened, but his expression remained carefully composed.

"Where did you get this?" he asked curiously.

"That doesn't matter," she shot back, her voice fuming with fury. "Vivian told me everything. She said you remember—the wedding, me, everything. That we were something more before. That this was all some... some plan of yours!"

Adrian's eyes changed to something—shock, frustration, guilt? She couldn't tell, and that only increased the fire inside her.

"Vivian has no idea what she's talking about," he said, his voice low and measured. "She's trying to turn you against me."

Lily let out a sharp, bitter laugh. "Oh, really? Then why does this evidence exist? Why haven't you tried to figure out what happened? If you didn't plan this, why didn't you tell me what you remember?"

Adrian sighed, running a hand through his dark hair. "Because I don't remember, Lily! I swear, I've been trying to piece it together just like you—"

"Liar!" she shouted, her voice shaking. "You're lying to me! You've been lying this whole time!"

Her vision got blinded by tears, but she blinked them away. She wasn't going to let him see her cry. "You used me, didn't you? You wanted my inheritance, and I was just a pawn in your stupid game."

Adrian circled around the desk, his expression changing. "That's not true, and you know it."

She shook her head, shifting back as he approached. "I don't know anything anymore! I trusted you, Adrian, and now—" Her voice broke, and she slapped him, the sharp sounds echoing in the room.

Adrian froze, his cheek red where her palm had connected. His breathing was heavy, his eyes immediately filled with an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine.

"Lily," he said, his voice dangerously low. "You don't understand."

"Don't," she shouted , raising her hand again, tears falling down her face. "Don't you dare—". She raised her hand to slap him again.

But this time, he caught her wrist as it was about swinging . His grip was firm, very strong , as he looked down at her with a look that was equal parts anger and something else—something raw and magnetic.

Before she could react, Adrian forced her closer, his other hand holding her hair as he forced his lips to crash against hers.

Lily gasped, her free hand pushing against his chest, but he didn't let go. His kiss was fiery and unstoppable, a combination of frustration, desire, and something darker.

She tried to pull away, her mind screaming at her to resist, but her body betrayed her, melting against him as her anger turned into something consuming.

Her fingers held onto his shirt, holding it tightly as she kissed him back with equal rage.. The world outside his office disappeared, leaving only the mixture of their different emotions.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathless, their faces inches apart. Adrian's hand was still holding her cheek, his thumb brushing away a tear.

"I'm not lying to you, Lily," he said, his voice filled with something that sounded almost like desperation. "You mean more to me than you realize. But if you want the truth, you'll have to trust me."

Lily looked up at him, her heart pounding so loudly she thought it might burst. She wanted to scream, to cry, to slap him again- Instead, she dragged him close to her with trembling hands and began kissing him back.

The kisses felt so raw, so passionate and they could not control it any longer, he lifted her up and pinned her onto his table, throwing away everything that was going to become a nuisance to this moment.

She drew him closer this time, and he began kissing her neck. Kisses that felt so electric, so raw. Lily couldn't control the wetness in her vagina as he touched her passionately.

She felt herself reaching for her shirt and unbuttoning them, feeling his six pack abs and his chest with his pounding heartbeat.

Adrian removed her dress and before they both knew it they were naked, aroused so much in the heat of the moment, all that was heard were moans of pleasure from Lily as she kept pleading for more.

"I'm not going to stop until you tell me to". Adrian said as they were still enjoying the pleasure that came from the heat of the moment.

"I don't know what to believe anymore," she whispered to his ears, her voice hollow.

"Let's just focus on only this Lily, let tonight just be about us", Adrain said, responding to her with a tone that set the moment in full action as they both got lost in each other's arms.
