"System, exchange the other Kamui for me immediately!"
Moments later, after feeling the transformation within himself, Ryker couldn't hold back his laughter.
"Hahaha! Now, truly, no place in this world is beyond my reach!"
Meanwhile, Bat, who was en route to the Solomon Family headquarters, received a call from the Gambino Family base.
"Bat, our latest intel confirms that the Solomon Family's defeat is inevitable. Your main objective upon arrival is negotiation. Avoid unnecessary conflict if possible.
Also, get there as quickly as possible and assess their losses. Try to preserve as much of their remaining strength as you can."
Receiving his new orders, Bat accelerated, channeling his aura into his wings to push his speed to the limit.
At the same time, Ryker was preparing to leave. No, more accurately, he was heading back to the Genovese Family headquarters to exchange intel with Tony.
However, just as he was lamenting on the rooftop before heading down, a figure in the sky caught his Sharingan's view.
'Hmm? A reinforcement for the Solomon Family? If they can fly unaided, they must be a Nen user. I wasn't expecting dessert after my main course. Perfect chance to test my new ability.'
With that thought, Ryker remained alone on the rooftop, waiting for the uninvited guest to arrive.
Meanwhile, Bat, pushing himself to his limits, soon spotted the Solomon Family headquarters in the distance.
He continued his rapid approach, eager to report the battlefield situation to headquarters as soon as possible.
At the same time, inside the Kolobo Family leader's office, Alex had just found Sosa.
"Father, we've lost all contact with the Solomon Family.
Whether it's our undercover agents or our visible informants, every single one of them has gone silent. I fear the worst."
"I understand. Leave me for now. There's no point in discussing it further. I'll handle it."
As soon as his son Alex left the room, Sosa picked up his phone again, enveloping it in his aura.
"Eliminate Hawk Solomon immediately."
After delivering the cold order, he hung up, as if nothing had happened. Only a vague murmur escaped his lips.
"Now, who should take the empty seat left behind?"
At the Gambino Family headquarters, Old John and Gordon were waiting for the latest frontline updates.
Suddenly, the phone rang. Gordon snatched it up, impatient for news.
"Bad news. We've lost all our operatives within the Solomon Family. Just confirmed—every undercover agent has gone silent.
The worst-case scenario has come true. We must act immediately."
"We need to reinforce the Kolobo Family's combat strength before the power balance shifts, or internal chaos will erupt.
And more importantly, Andrea won't sit idly by. If the Agnelli Family intervenes, the losses will extend far beyond just the Solomon Family."
As one of the two dominant underground powers on the Yorbian continent, the only rival Old John took seriously was the other giant of the underworld—the Agnelli Family.
"Withdraw ten billion Jenny from the family treasury and send it to the Kolobo Family. Make it clear—this money is strictly for recruiting combat personnel."
"Also, contact Bat immediately. Find out where he is. If he has already arrived, have him assess the Solomon Family's casualties and report back at once.
Tell him the Solomon Family is a lost cause. He is not to engage with the opposing force."
At the Genovese Family headquarters, Tony was enjoying a fine steak and wine, waiting for news on the Solomon Family.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
A family member on the other end reported, "All our informants in the Solomon Family have gone silent. None of them are responding."
Hearing this, Tony actually relaxed.
He was familiar with Ryker's methods. This most likely meant the Solomon Family had already fallen. Still, he decided to call Ryker himself to confirm the details—things like the mission's progress.
At the same time, Bat had arrived over the Solomon Family headquarters.
Looking down at the battlefield from the sky, the sight that greeted him made even him—a seasoned killer who thrived in the underground world—feel a chill.
What lay before him wasn't a scene of gang warfare. It was a blood-soaked hellscape.
Had he not been so hardened by years of violence, he might have vomited midair.
The sheer brutality of the scene momentarily distracted him from the lone figure standing on the rooftop—Ryker.
It wasn't until a phone rang that Bat snapped out of his trance.
"Hello? Tony? What is it?"
The ringing phone also made him notice Ryker on the rooftop.
A small figure, oddly dressed, talking on the phone.
Bat immediately realized—this might be the only survivor, and whoever he was, he had to be deeply involved in this massacre.
Just then, Bat's own phone rang. Seeing that it was Gordon, he answered.
At the same time, he shouted down at Ryker with an arrogant tone, "Hey, kid! Who the hell are you? What's your connection to what happened here?"
Both of their phones were still on the line.
Ryker simply spoke to Tony on the other end, "A fly showed up. Let me swat it first, then we'll talk."
With that, Ryker hung up.
Bat, hearing this, instantly flared up, "You little—you're looking for death!"
Meanwhile, on Gordon's end of the call, he heard everything. A chill ran down his spine. In that instant, he realized who Bat was dealing with.
Panicking, he shouted through the phone, "Shut up immediately! Don't provoke him! Apologize! Now! And—"
Before he could finish his sentence, a bloodcurdling scream echoed through the line.
"Ahhh—!"
Followed by a dull thud.
Gordon suspected Bat's phone had hit the ground.
Just now, as Bat had been mid-sentence, Ryker had activated his kamui ability—space severance.
In an instant, Bat was sliced in half midair.
"What a waste. I'm still getting used to this power and ended up overdoing it. I was hoping to drag him into the Kamui space for experimentation… oh well."
He took a few steps forward, glancing down at the phone on the ground, "These local gangs have terrible manners."
With that, he casually stomped on the phone and walked away. On the other end of the line, Gordon heard nothing but the sound of a lost connection.
