Ha-na sat perched on Soo-ah's panel bed in her apartment, watching her fold clothes from her wardrobe and into a bubblegum-pink suitcase.
"How long are you staying?" Ha-na asked, watching her as she performed her task.
"Two days. At most three." Soo-ah forced a smile, trying to keep up appearances, but her hands shook. She was going to Busan, and while the notion didn't particularly appeal to her, she had to go all the same.
"Are you sure you'll be fine on your own?" Ha-na prodded again, worried.
Soo-ah flashed her another quick, humourless smile. "It's not like I have a choice."
Ha-na was not fooled. She knew Soo-ah wasn't thrilled about going, and it bothered her to bits.
"I could come with you. I could have Bo-min and Jae-ho run the agency in my stead –"
