"Min-seo, we finally meet again. After so many years apart." Kim Ho-jin said, his eyes clouding over with emotion.
Min-seo stared at him, her eyes studying every detail of his familiar yet unfamiliar face altered by age.
His jet-black hair – styled in an airy-and-soft perm – was fairly touched by canities. His large, oval ears stuck out from the sides of his head, just as they usually did during high school, particularly whenever he was out on the field, playing sports.
The stubble of a goatee framed his strong, square chin, which used to be smooth and clear in his youthful days. Wrinkles rumpled the corner of his eyes and jaw as he made facial expressions.
But what was mostly the same was his vivid brown eyes and tall, athletic build – although slightly made rotund by age.
Min-seo busied herself with stirring her mahogany-brown espresso coffee. She then placed her demitasse spoon on her saucer to the right of her teacup.
