Dream

 Chapter 1

In the old days, in a city, there lived a man named Raymond. He was rich and evil, doing anything he liked, even taking any attractive or beautiful woman he desired as his wife. But one day, a hero arrived and saved the people from this wicked man.

This is how my story began. In a village called Dutch, a man named Taylor lived on his farm, peacefully taking care of his crops. Before long, a lady approached him and announced that his wife was about to give birth. Taylor quickly ran home to his lovely and beautiful wife, who was at the point of delivering a baby.

Taylor was overjoyed to discover that his wife had successfully given birth to twins, a boy and a girl. However, in another part of the village, a woman named Kali, the village chief's wife, grew jealous. She couldn't bear children, and Taylor's wife, Grace, had just given birth to two healthy babies.

Back to Taylor's family, Grace asked her husband to name their children. Taylor looked at his son and daughter and decided to name them Baron and Posy. That day, Taylor hosted a grand banquet to celebrate the birth of his twins.

As the night wore on and everyone enjoyed the festivities, Kali, the village chief's wife, arrived with evil intentions. Her initial plan was to kidnap one of Taylor's children and sell them to slave traders for gold coins. However, she soon changed her mind and devised a more sinister plan.

Kali intended to kidnap one of Taylor's children and use them to manipulate Taylor into sleeping with her. Her ultimate goal was to gain control of her husband's wealth when he passed away.

As the banquet continued, Kali set her plan in motion. Suddenly, the village chief, Xandros, appeared, calling out to his wife. The atmosphere became tense, and everyone turned to look at Xandros.

"What are you doing here?" Xandros demanded, his voice firm. The villagers exchanged worried glances, unsure of what would happen next.

Someone intervened, saying, "What's wrong with you, old man? Stop making a scene. We're celebrating the birth of Taylor's children. If you're here to drink, join us, but stop acting like a jealous man."

Taylor stepped forward, addressing Xandros. "Brother, it's been ten years since Mom and Dad passed away, but you've never come to visit me until today, when I'm celebrating my children's birth. You demon, stay away from me. You're the one who killed Mom and Dad."

Xandros retaliated, "Whatever I want to say, I'll say it. The good news is that you're leaving this village tomorrow, so I'll have it all to myself, brother."

The story flashed back to the past, revealing the complicated history between Taylor and Xandros. They were once close brothers, but their father, Mike, was a violent warrior with a penchant for women. Their mother, Lily, was an elf, renowned for her beauty, which had sparked a war between two kingdoms.

Mike's violent nature and infidelity had caused tension in the family. Despite this, Lily loved him, and the family had lived together until the tragic events that led to the brothers' estrangement.

Back to the present. The day after the banquet, Taylor and his family set off for a new beginning. Before departing, Taylor sold his farm land for a substantial amount of money. He also wrote a letter to his brother, Xandros, urging him to take care of himself and his family. Additionally, Taylor advised Xandros to be cautious with his wife, Kali, as he suspected her of harboring evil intentions.

Taylor and his family embarked on their journey, leaving their past life behind. Meanwhile, Xandros was taken aback by the letter from his brother, as their complicated past had left him with mixed emotions. On the other hand, Kali's reaction was ambivalent - she was both happy and unhappy. Her husband had confided in her about their family's secrets, revealing that their father had been a magic user and their mother was from the lineage of supreme beings.

Back to the Taylor family, several years had passed, and they had successfully relocated to a beautiful city. Taylor had established a new life as a noble merchant, becoming a wealthy and respected member of society. He would occasionally encounter men from his old village and express his gratitude to his brother.

However, Xandros's life was not as peaceful. His wife, Kali, sought to dominate him in all aspects of their life together. The village, now a thriving small city, had become a hub for business and commerce.

Kali had always desired to marry a man who would become the village chief. Since her ex-husband was not a suitable candidate, she had left him for Xandros, who was wealthier and more promising. She had even gone so far as to kill her ex-husband and bury him in the village forest.

Before dying, her ex-husband had placed a curse on Kali: she would never give birth to children, and if she did, she would suffer immense pain until her death. This was why Kali refused to let Xandros sleep with her; she feared the pain and consequences.

One day, Xandros embarked on a seven-month business trip. During his travels, he met a beautiful woman named Rena, and they made love. When the trip ended, Xandros returned to his city, promising Rena that he would come back for her.

Meanwhile, Kali had been monitoring Xandros's every move, ensuring that no one would take her place. Upon his return, she watched him closely, suspicious of his intentions.
