Chapter 66 - Attack(12)

The forest was eerily quiet, the only sound being the rustling of leaves as Stella stood in the center of a clearing.

Her fiery red hair cascaded down her back, her deep blue eyes gleaming with a mix of arrogance and irritation.

Currently, surrounding her were thirteen hooded figures, their weapons drawn and their expressions hidden beneath their cloaks.

Stella sighed, her voice dripping with disdain. "Lessers," she muttered, her tone mocking. "Do you really think you stand a chance against me?"

The hooded figures didn't respond. Instead, they charged at her, their weapons flashing in the dim light.

Stella then raised a hand, activating her telekinesis. The air around her seemed to ripple as she took control of the battlefield.

The first hooded figure lunged at her with a sword, his movements swift and precise.

Stella flicked her wrist, and the sword was ripped from his hand.

It hovered in the air for a moment before spinning around and plunging into his chest.

He instantly collapsed to the ground, his body twitching as blood pooled beneath him.

"Now, where's my brother?" Stella asked, her voice cold and demanding.

The second figure, wielding a pair of daggers, tried to flank her. Stella didn't even turn her head.

With a wave of her hand, she sent him flying into a tree. The impact shattered his spine, and he slid to the ground, his body turning lifeless soon after.

"I said, where's Theo?" she repeated, her tone growing more impatient.

The third figure, a woman with a spear, charged at her.

Stella raised her hand, and the spear stopped mid-air.

With a flick of her fingers, the spear reversed direction, impaling the woman through the stomach. She let out a choked gasp before collapsing.

"You're all so weak, yet you dare challenge me. Pathetic!" Stella said, her voice filled with contempt. "I'll ask one more time, where is he?"

Rather than answer, the fourth figure, a man with a massive hammer, swung at her with all his might.

Stella caught the hammer mid-swing, her telekinesis holding it in place. She twisted her hand, and the hammer was ripped from his grip.

It hovered in the air for a moment before slamming into his head, crushing his skull.

"Theo!" Stella shouted, her voice echoing through the forest. "Where is he you bastards!"

The fifth figure, a woman with a bow, fired an arrow at her.

Stella caught it mid-air, her telekinesis stopping it inches from her face. She flicked her wrist, and the arrow shot back at the woman, piercing her throat.

"Answer me!" Stella demanded, her voice growing more furious.

The sixth figure, a man with a pair of claws, tried to sneak up behind her. Stella didn't even need to turn around.

She raised her hand, and the man was lifted off the ground. With a flick of her fingers, she twisted his body, the sound of bones breaking echoing through the clearing.

"Where's my brother? I won't ask again," she said, her tone icy.

The seventh figure, a woman with a whip, then lashed out at her.

Stella caught the whip mid-air, her telekinesis holding it in place. She yanked it toward her, sending the woman flying.

Then with a wave of her hand, Stella snapped the woman's neck, her body crumpling to the ground.

The eighth figure, a man with a massive axe, charged at her. Stella raised her hand, and the axe was ripped from his grip.

It hovered in the air for a moment before slamming into his chest, splitting him in two.

The ninth figure, a woman with a pair of swords, tried to attack her from both sides.

Stella raised both hands, and the swords were ripped from her grip. With a flick of her fingers, Stella sent the swords spinning through the air, decapitating the woman.

True to her words, Stella did not ask again. If these people wanted to die so badly, she would grant their wish.

The tenth figure, a man with a massive shield, tried to block her attacks. Stella raised her hand, and the shield was ripped from his grip.

And then with a wave of her hand, she sent the shield flying into his chest, crushing his ribs.

The eleventh figure, a woman with a pair of daggers, tried to sneak up behind her again.

Like before, Stella didn't even turn around. Nor did she need to.

She raised her hand, and the woman was lifted off the ground. With a flick of her fingers, she slammed her to the ground with such force she died instantly.

The twelfth figure, a man with a massive sword, charged at her.

Stella raised her hand, and the sword was ripped from his grip. It hovered in the air for a moment before slamming into his chest, impaling him.

The thirteenth and final figure, a woman with a pair of claws, tried to attack her from behind.

As was the previous cases, Stella didn't even turn around.

She raised her hand, and the woman was lifted off the ground. With a flick of her wrists, Stella twisted her body, the sound of bone shattering and her body crumpling to the ground.

At the end of it, Stella stood in the center of the clearing, her chest heaving as she looked around at the carnage.

The thirteen hooded figures were dead, their bodies broken and bloodied. But Stella wasn't satisfied.

"Theodore," she muttered, her voice filled with worry. "Just where the hell are you?"

With a flick of her wrist, she lifted herself into the air, her telekinesis propelling her forward. She flew off into the forest, her blue eyes burning with determination.

"I'm coming, Theo," she said, her voice filled with resolve. "Just hold on."
