8. Sleep Over At School

I woke up seeing myself on my bed. Did he bring me here. I blushed a bit. I lazily entered the bathroom to have my bath. I wore my school uniform,packed my hair into a ponytail leaving bangs in front. I look pretty. I went downstairs. Mum hasn't been around. She accompanied dad in London for his contract. Daisy made breakfast. To my surprise Dave is eating breakfast. He basically skip breakfast.

Good morning students. As you all know it's a new term we want all of you to excel in all your exams,we implore all of you to read very well and decide on the college you want to attend. You might think another term is coming I shouldn't read but the truth is if you start reading from now you'll pass better Is that understood.

They're going hard on us because we're in the final senior class. We often do extra lessons.

Rose and Jade resumed school. Everyone is talking about them. They often prank each other in order to hurt themselves.

I gotta be serious and pass my exams. I wanna go to the same college with Dave. He's often busy with reading. He's the best student in science department. He helps me with my assignment and other school stuff.

Our first monthly test came up and I passed it. I can smell progress. Dave has been tutoring me lately. He's a strict teacher.

All students of final senior class gathered in the hall and lined up according to their department.

The Principal,The Vice Principal andMr Gideon are standing on the stage.

Attention please. As you all know you are in the final senior class,you need to be very prepared for your exams and I want all of you to pass in flying colors. I've made decision with my staffs and the school board to organize a sleep over at school.

"Wow",a sleep over. Students began to whisper.

"A sleepover in school"

Silence. Mr Gideon collected the mic for principal and buttressed his words.

This sleepover is to groom you for your upcoming exam. It's going to be a long stretch tutoring. You must all be prepared.

The Vice Principal collected the mic from him and added to his point. Don't get too excited, you're not coming to the sleepover lessons to play. You're only, emphasis on the only going to be reading and our teacher will be tutoring you. I don't want to see any signs of laziness and non chalant attitude. Is that understood.

He was done and we all dismissed. A sleepover class. Non stop reading. This school is so strict.

Extra lessons are over and we went home. He drove his bike. I wrapped my arms around his muscular body. We got home and I laid down tiredly on the couch. Your school is killing me.

He chuckled, we are having our final exam that is going to take us to college. I'm not surprised.

I'm tired.

He climbed the stairs and turned around facing me. By the way, you're having lessons with me. Go get prepared. He went upstairs.

Ahhh,I lazily stood up from the couch and headed to my room.

See,you made a mistake. You are supposed to carry x to the other side. He solved the equation he's gave me to do.

Oh,I see my mistake. He gave me another one to solve.

Hmm, he studied my solution to the equation. Quite impressive. You got it.

Yes,I screamed. I'm a smart girl.

Oh please,I rolled my eyes don't get too happy. He gave me another equation and I solved it.

You see,I'm smart. I deserve an applaud.

He applauded me jokingly. Miss smartie pants,he teased.

That's me. I laughed and the lights tripped off.

Who tripped off the light,I said scarily holding his hands tightly.

Don't know. I turned on my flashlight. Much better. I studied Karen.

Are you scared of the dark.

Of course not,I said defensively.

Really,he raised his brows. Why are you holding my hands tightly.

I let go if his hands. Shut up.

Scared cat. Karen is a scared cat.

Hey,not nice. I'm not afraid of the dark. I just don't like it.

He held my chin,you look ugly when you're angry.

I flicked his head,I'm going to my room. I took his flashlight.

Hey that's mine.

Nope,it's mine now. I ran out of his room and he ran after me. I ran inside my room and he followed me. Give me my flashlight.

No,I ran towards my closet and swerved heading towards the closed door. He followed my moves and came towards me. I swap the flashlight between my hands but he's taller than me so he grabbed it.

He moved closer to me leaving a little space between us.

My body wants her so bad. I want her lips under mine. Everything about her is just too perfect. I can't believe I'm falling for her. Too bad I can't be with her.

We stared at each other. He wrapped his hands around me and kissed me.

Wait did he just kiss me. Dave literally kissed. I found myself blushing. I closed my eyes to enjoy the moment. The kiss is a passionate one. He's very tender and his lips taste so great. I want him.

I kissed her slowly and tenderly. I want her so bad.

I slipped my hands inside his shirt feeling his muscular body. He's just to perfect. The kiss deepened and the urge grew higher.

I slipped my hands into her top, rubbing her body. I wanted to continue but I can't. I can't take advantage of her. I removed my hands and pulled apart from her.

I stared at him. Why did he stop. I stared at him in embarrassment.

You can keep the flashlight,go to sleep. With that he left my room.

He just made a fool out of me. How dare he. Oh Karen, you're so lost in Dave. I got angry at my self. I'm going crazy around him. I laid on my bed recalling the kiss. After so many recollection I dozed off.

The school's sleepover lessons finally came. I'm so excited. I packed some of my important stuff. It's so crazy Mom and Dad leaves us alone. They always travel together. Lucky lovers not like me. I dropped my stuffs and headed to class.

Michelle,I waved at her.

Karen, how are you doing. I'm so excited for the sleepover.

It's a sleepover lesson,you're not meant to have fun.

Shh, Jake and some other classmates are going to shoot fireworks.

Wow, fireworks. It's been long since I've seen fireworks.

Ok happy girl,I chuckled.

Dave started the attitude again. Ignoring me. How dare he after kissing me.

Night came in a flash and the lessons begun. The teachers are too strict. We can't even have a break. Finally we got a break. I walked through the school hallway in my pajamas. I went up to Dave's spot, the rooftop. He's sitting there alone.

Hey,I walked towards him.

How rude,I said to myself. I came to see you.

You've seen me you can leave.

Why are you always pushing me away. I mean everytime you kiss me I don't push you away so why are you always pushing me away.

He chuckled. I'm sorry for all the kisses. It's all a mistake.

All I mistake,I scoffed. All those kisses and touches mean nothing to you. Really. You're just using me. I yelled at him. You're taking me for a slut and you'll eventually dump me just like you did to Rose and Jade.

That's all. I held my tears. I should known better before falling in love with a play boy like you. It's fine. Let's take a break. I turned and left.

Karen,I called but she didn't turned back. I sighed sadly. I want her but she doesn't deserve me. Only if she knows.

I ran down in tears. He's only using me. He's a play boy and a flirt. I cried harder. Minutes later the fireworks started to shoot and I cried harder each time I look at it.
