Toxic Forest

Ryan ran through the forest in stealth. He sneak attack the swamp serpants and go on a killing spree and also discovered some bodies on the way. He used Gluttony on them and got good skills :

What puzzled him is the holders of these skills looked quite equipped. They held equipment that's not too high but not too low. Enough to deal with the monsters below boss monster with little effort. But they're killed and their bodies have no damage on them except two bite marks and their bodies are pale. A vampire on first floor is very unheard of. There is only 2 explanations for this.

Rogue awakeners or contract killers.

His gaze turned cold. The reason for his parents death is rogue awakeners. If it's them he won't leave these guys. No matter who are they, he is going to kill them. Ryan ran into the toxic forest and looked around. Sensing the presence of swamp serpants. He dodged and sliced through the serpants with the dagger and a thought popperin his head. Vampires can use weapons, but this vampire didn't even take the loot, if it's a contract killer this is very unusual since they loot their victim especially in a place like this where awakeners can't see well.

So the only option is rogue awakeners. Ryan ran towards the serpants he can see using his presence detection, thermal vision and spirit eye. He practically started a slaughter in the region as he continued to use gluttony on these guys until he can slice a swamp serpant with one slash.

Ryan ran through the forest in deep searching for the rogue awakener. As he keep in searching he saw a cave there. This give him an odd and ominous feeling. Something about this cave isn't right. He entered the cave and activated presence detection, spirit eye.

The cave bats are hanging upside down in the cave with their red eyes glaring at Ryan who is running and some even chased him. Ryan used Frost Control to kill these bats and used Gluttony on them. The skill he got from them is - life drain(D) which is upgraded into life drain (C).

He can now use this skill to drain the vitality of the opponent with a physical touch and can increase his vitality, heal himself. Ryan observed as the deeper he goes the more he felt something is wrong. Corrupted mana filled the air making him disgusted.

As he dwelled deeper into the cave, he saw a person ahead. A girl to be exact, she has red eyes and bat like wings along with sharp fangs looking at him with a grin. But the mana isn't from her, something is happening down this cave that he suspects involved the rogue awakeners.

The girl charged at him at incredible speed. Ryan is surprised at her speed. No wonder she can kill many awakeners and drain their blood. But Ryan is different, he activated wind grace and accelerate at the same time. Ryan and that vampire girl started reading blows. She is surprised that a rookie awakener matched her speed and even fighting her equally.

She jumped and created sole distance flying to the ceiling of the cave and she stretched her hands while weapons of blood started manifesting out of thin air. Ryan looked at her blood weapons and raised his hand. Weapons made out of ice appeared thin air. He looked at her and said," thanks for giving me advice about how to use my skills properly ".

The vampire girl looked enraged and said," just some ice cubes. What can they do to my blood weapons. I'm the one chosen by the great nobility of night. You're nothing but live stock to me ", she launched all her weapons while uttering those words. Weapons of blood and ice collided with each other. Pieces of red crystal and white crystal fell down as the weapons collided with each other.

Some weapons though hurled towards them. Ryan and the vampire dodged the incoming projectiles. The vampire stopped and glared at Ryan before saying," hey trash. Just die and be my food. It's an honour for your worthless life ".

Ryan ignored her words and asked coldly," I don't care if you act like bitch or for your monologue about superiority. Tell me are you one of the rogue awakeners?", the vampire grinned and said," so you some brains. It's understandable afterall even garbage has something valuable sometimes. So what if I'm?".

Ryan eyes tyrned stone cold as he said," good ", he activated Frost Control to the extreme and an icy mist formed behind Ryan. The vampire girl felt a chill while Ryan looked at her and said," good bye stupid bat ", instantly the weapons of the vampire has frost on them and the part of the cave became chilly immediately.

Ryan looked at her horrified expression and pointed his finger at her. Immediately many frost weapons flew towards her. The vampire's blood weapons all froze in place and she looked she exhausted blood while making those weapons. She lost now. Ryan's ice weapons all dug into her body while she groaned and said," this isn't enough to kill me. I'll kill you the moment you're exhausted ".

Ryan looked at her and said," I want to fry you now. That's why I didn't kill you ", Ryan stretched his hand while a 1 m diameter fire ball descended on the vampire who looked horrified. Her body is enveloped with flames as her screams echoed through out the cave.
