Patience

Aaran sprinted through the clearing, his eyes drifting between Cerberus and the massive tree that it protected. Cerberus had tried clawing its way into the tree but failed. The tree, strengthened by the dungeon's core, couldn't be harmed from the outside.

While the opening wasn't big enough for Cerberus, Aaran could comfortably enter and look for the core.

Meanwhile, Brute and the goblins were keeping the beast occupied. Cerberus's jaws kept snapping as it spewed fire in all directions.

But Brute wasn't one to back down. Since he couldn't get close to the beast with its constant fire attacks, he slammed his leg on the ground, splitting it apart.

The crack sped towards the beast, but Cerberus jumped to safety. However, as it did, Brute began hurling massive rocks at it.

Cerberus showed off its agility, dodging the rocks with little to no effort, but it forgot about the goblins.
