"Raaawr!!"
The moment the newly evolved Gabite appeared on the battlefield, it couldn't help but roar loudly, showcasing its newfound power to everyone present.

This was Gabite's current state—absurdly powerful. It had even learned Shadow Claw yesterday using the TM obtained from a previous mission, boosting its strength further.
However, evolution wasn't all positive. Due to its larger size, Gabite could no longer fit in Liam's backpack.
Gabite had sulked for a long time until Liam comforted it and coaxed it back into its PokéBall.
"This time it's a Pokémon I can't even recognize. You're quite the mysterious young man," remarked Flint as he looked at the imposing Gabite in awe, clearly unable to identify it.
"Heh, Gabite is a Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. It's a Dragon and Ground-type, very powerful. So, Gym Leader Flint, I suggest you be extra cautious," Liam said openly, revealing Gabite's type without hesitation.
"Ha! A Ground-type, huh? Did you choose it because it counters my Rhyhorn? If that's it, I'd advise you against relying on typing too much. Still, this will be an exciting duel!" Flint laughed heartily, clearly impressed by Liam's Pokémon.
Exciting for sure! Let the Gym Leader witness Gabite 's power! Garchomp, use Dual Chop!" As the battle began, Liam felt his blood pumping with excitement.
Pointing at the opposing Rhyhorn, he commanded. Gabite roared, its fins glowing blue-violet, and it launched forward, becoming a blur of white light.
"So fast! Rhyhorn, Bulldoze!" Flint quickly assessed Gabite's speed and realized Rhyhorn couldn't keep up. Opting for a strategy to slow it down, he commanded a powerful area-of-effect move.
Rhyhorn bellowed and raised its front leg high before slamming it down with immense force, creating a shockwave.
"Not a chance! Gabite, Take Down! Send it flying!" Liam's competitive spirit flared as he countered Flint's strategy with an all-or-nothing move.
"Raaaawr!!"
Upon hearing the command, Gabite's gaze sharpened. Accelerating further, it charged at Rhyhorn just as its front legs hit the ground. Enveloped in earth-colored energy, Gabite rammed into Rhyhorn's chest with immense force.
The collision sent the massive Rhyhorn flying.
"Raaawr!!"
As Rhyhorn landed with a crash, Gabite roared triumphantly, its eyes blazing with fighting spirit.
Meanwhile, Liam, standing at the edge of the battlefield, wiped the sweat from his brow. He cursed himself for letting his excitement cloud his judgment and resorting to such a risky strategy.
Thankfully, Gabite's power had prevailed, avoiding what could have been a disastrous outcome.
"Huff… huff…"
Despite the force of the collision, Rhyhorn slowly rose, shaking off the dust. Its eyes locked onto Gabite with newfound respect and determination.
"What strength! I can't believe my Rhyhorn lost in a test of power. This unknown Pokémon is truly formidable! But strength alone doesn't decide a battle. Rhyhorn, use Rock Blast!" Flint, stunned by the earlier exchange, quickly composed himself and ordered a long-range attack.
Rhyhorn roared as several sharp rocks materialized behind it and shot toward Gabite.
"Gabite, Sand Tomb!" Liam quickly devised a counter.
"Raaaawr!"
Gabite leapt back and slammed a fin into the ground. Instantly, a swirling vortex of sand and stones erupted, engulfing the incoming rocks and reducing them to dust. The sandstorm then expanded, trapping Rhyhorn within a churning maelstrom.
"Rhyhorn! Don't give up! Use Megahorn!" Flint urged, attempting to break free from the vortex.
With a determined roar, Rhyhorn lowered its head and charged, its horn glowing white as it shot out of the sandstorm like a rocket.
"Time to end this! Gabite, Rock Climb!" Liam commanded decisively.
"Raaawr!"
As Rhyhorn burst out of the Sand Tomb, Gabite stomped the ground, summoning a towering rock pillar that struck the charging Rhyhorn midair.
Gabite then dashed up the rocky slope, its steps smashing the stone beneath it. At the peak, Gabite delivered a powerful strike with its glowing fins, sending Rhyhorn crashing to the ground in defeat.
"Rhyhorn!" Flint could only watch as his Pokémon fell, its eyes swirling in exhaustion.
"Rhyhorn is unable to battle! The Gym Leader's Pokémon are both down! The winner is the challenger, Liam!" declared Lola from the sidelines.
"Great job, Rhyhorn. You deserve a good rest." Flint recalled Rhyhorn and walked to the center of the arena.
Liam, brimming with excitement, joined him. Gabite trotted over, nuzzling Liam affectionately.
"You were amazing, Gabite! Stronger than I imagined. We'll get even better together," Liam said, stroking Gabite's rough head.
"Raaawr!" Gabite nodded enthusiastically, enjoying the praise.
"You've earned this. The Pewter Gym's Boulder Badge is now yours," Flint said with a smile, handing over the badge.
Liam took it eagerly and held it high. Under the lights, the badge gleamed as Liam shouted in joy.
"I got the Boulder Badge!!"
