Chapter 15

Eight years of acquaintance, and he had not an ounce of trust for me in our marriage.

After he had wounded me beyond recognition, he could remain indifferent to my life or death for three days and nights.

Now, what's with this act of deep affection?

It makes me sick.

Harvey probably thinks this is his last time seeing me.

He's here to help me.

And he wants to see me one more time, to hear me speak.

I lowered my gaze to the paternity test results in my hand.

Originally, I had intended to show them to him.

But thinking about his previous actions, I felt it wasn't worth it anymore.

After all, it doesn't matter now.

Cora seemed to read my mind, and she smiled:

"Dr. Harvey, there's something I need to tell you."

"From now on, you won't see Isabella again."

Harvey looked at her in disbelief:

"You... what did you say?!"

Cora took a deep breath, suppressing her anger:

"Starting today, I won't let you get anywhere near Isabella."
