Prohibited Bond

Set in colonial Cuba in the 1830s, “Prohibited Bond” tells the intense love story between Sarabi, a slave, and William, the son of English planter Thomas. As Sarabi struggles against the abuses of overseer James, William confronts the rigid mandates of his family and his feelings for Sarabi.
