Set in colonial Cuba in the 1830s, “Prohibited Bond” tells the intense love story between Sarabi, a slave, and William, the son of English planter Thomas. As Sarabi struggles against the abuses of overseer James, William confronts the rigid mandates of his family and his feelings for Sarabi. In an environment of oppression and inequality, their love defies social and racial barriers, becoming a symbol of resistance and hope in difficult times.
An interesting read indeed. It's different from other genre. I wonder if the author plans on starting a new troupe. Keep up the hard work.
