Evolution Overload

After Lizarius finished healing, he walked towards the four Lightning Rats killed by the Black Viper and began eating them one after another. After he finished, the system announced, "You gained 160 Evolution Points and four Lightning Rat Genes."

The Lightning Rats' nest must be somewhere around here, Lizarius thought. After searching for a while, he finally found it: the nest was hidden beneath a large tree. He turned invisible and tried to enter, but he was too large to fit through the narrow opening. Undeterred, he forced his way in. He was surprised to find that the nest was much larger on the inside.

He saw a Rank 2 Mid Tier Lightning Rat fighting two Rank 2 Low Tier Black Vipers. Scattered around were the corpses of multiple Lightning Rats and four Black Vipers. The Rank 2 Lightning Rat charged its body with electricity and rammed its horn into the head of one of the Black Vipers, killing it instantly. The other Black Viper reacted quickly, swinging its tail and launching multiple golden scales at the Lightning Rat. The Lightning Rat dodged most of them, but one scale grazed its side, inflicting a small wound. The Black Viper's poison quickly took effect, and the Lightning Rat collapsed, twitching. The remaining Black Viper slowly crawled towards the fallen rat.

Lizarius, who had been observing, slowly became visible behind the snake, his yellow eyes glowing as he gathered electricity in his horns. He unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning at the snake, instantly roasting it until it fainted. Lizarius, without wasting any time, bit down on the snake's head. He then moved towards the Lightning Rat. I should finish this before I start eating, he thought, and bit down on the Lightning Rat, killing it. He then began to devour the corpses.

After several hours of non-stop eating, the system notified him that he was done. He asked the system, "How many points do I have?"

"You have 940 Evolution Points, 35 Lightning Rat Genes, and 5 Black Viper Genes," the system replied.

"Fuse all the genes and use all the points to evolve every part of my body," Lizarius commanded. A powerful shock ran through his body, and he lost consciousness.
