The lizard thought, "Since I can't expect from it, I guess I have to fight it." Lizarius charged his tail with lightning, then swung it forcefully, sending a barrage of golden scales, each imbued with electricity, towards the crocodile. The crocodile reacted swiftly, swinging its own massive tail. The golden scales collided with the crocodile's tail, but the impact only resulted in a minor scratch.

Lizarius was shocked. "My attack… it only scratched him?" he muttered in disbelief. The crocodile, sensing the lizard's hesitation, lunged forward with terrifying speed. Its jaws opened wide, aiming for a devastating bite.

Lizarius reacted instinctively, darting out of the way. However, the crocodile's tail lashed out, striking Lizarius with immense force. He crashed into the ground, a sickening crack echoing through his body.

Lizarius slowly got up, his body trembling. "System," he hissed, "why didn't my attack have any effect?"

The system replied, "They have strong defense against physical attacks."

"So, that's why my attack only scratched him," Lizarius realized. "If physical attacks don't have any effect on you, I guess I will have to try something else." Lizarius opened his mouth and let out a deafening roar, unleashing a powerful sound wave attack towards the crocodile.

The sound wave struck the crocodile, causing it to let out a low, pained groan. It swung its tail towards the spot where Lizarius had been standing, but the ground was empty. Lizarius was flying above the crocodile, invisible.

"I can probably expect now," Lizarius thought.

"But I'm not going to be doing that. I'm going to kill it." Lizarius commanded, "System, use 10,000 points to evolve the Moonlight Bat Gene, 10,000 points to evolve the Lightning Gene, and another 10,000 points to evolve the White Scale Gene."

A powerful shock ran through his body. He felt a warm sensation spreading through his entire being. He could feel his body transforming.

Lizarius turned visible, revealing a dramatic change. His horn had grown longer and sharper, his wings were larger and more muscular, and his scales shimmered with an eerie luminescence.
