Clash of Packs

Lizarius thought, I should probably escape. He turned invisible, startling the wolves, who were shocked to see him vanish. They sniffed around, trying to locate him by scent, but they couldn't find anything. Lizarius could not only turn invisible but also mask his scent and the sounds he made, so no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't find him.

Since they couldn't find Lizarius, the wolves' packs quickly turned their glowing eyes towards each other. Lizarius, now perched on a nearby tree, thought, Exactly as I thought.

Since I came to this part of the forest, I've never seen any wind wolves. This must be the territory of the Flaming Wolves. The Wind Wolves must have come because of the smell of blood and the noise from the fight with the crocodile. Since they came to the territory of the Flaming Wolves, it's only right for the Flaming Wolves to attack the Wind Wolves. But that didn't happen. Why? Because there was a bigger threat than the Wind Wolves—the beast that could kill a Rank 5 beast. But what happens when that threat suddenly disappears?

The Flaming Wolves and the Wind Wolves growled, baring their teeth at each other. Lizarius, still invisible, his yellow eyes glowing, jumped from tree to tree, stopping on a tree behind the Wind Wolves. They'll start to tear each other apart.

All I have to do is press play and sit back and watch the show.

Lizarius swung his wings, releasing four wind slashes. The Flaming Wolves, who were glaring at the Wind Wolves, were suddenly attacked by wind slashes that seemed to come from the Wind Wolves' group. The wind slashes cut down three Rank 2 Flaming Wolves, killing them instantly.

The leader of the Flaming Wolves, seeing its pack members killed, let out a loud howl. Blue flames erupted around its body. The Flaming Wolves pack, their bodies engulfed in fire, gathered balls of fire in their mouths and launched multiple fireballs towards the Wind Wolves.

The Wind Wolves' leader also let out a howl. The Wind Wolves pack sent multiple wind slashes towards the Flaming Wolves' fireballs. The fireballs collided with the wind slashes, causing an explosion. After the explosion, both the Flaming Wolves pack and the Wind Wolves pack howled and rushed towards each other. Lizarius, still invisible, sat perched on a nearby tree, observing the unfolding chaos.
