Beautiful but damaged

In her unconscious state she relived every torture and torment that Ben, Matthew and Alice inflicted on her. She begged and pleaded with them not knowing that her words where spoken out and her family got an idea of what she has been through. This went on for weeks and with her family reassurance, she stopped mumbling.

~one month later ~

Layla opened her eyes and was surprised to see herself on a hospital bed. So she tried standing only to almost fall due to the long time laying on the bed.

Due to sound she made the people outside came into the room and she was shocked because the faces she was seeing wasn't any she knew of.

So they all sat down as Luke told her about how she was kidnapped from the hospital when she was just an infant and how they tried looking for her and how he got clues due to the scholarship and everything.

She was happy to see her family and also scared because she was after all too broken.

Will they still love me if they hear my story

She asked herself. As she looked in the mirror in the bathroom.

She was so beautiful that no one will notice the damages.

She'd laugh hard when she is crying inside.

Negative thoughts were brewing in her mind again. She looked at the fruit knife in her hand. As she brought it closer to her wrist, she stopped because she remembered having a family that care for her.

She tried convincing herself that she will be loved from now on.

After getting the assurance from the doctor for the last time that she will be fine, her mum and brother took her to home.

She smiled when she thought of the word home.

Upon getting home Sarah called all the servants at home to inform them that Layla is their young miss has from that day.

Later in evening, Luke told her about his plan for revenge even if he doesn't know was she has gone through because she told them she won't tell them yet.

Layla told him not to, that she will take her revenge on them herself.

And she decided to study abroad for high school. Also told them to do the introduction party for her when she was back from school.

Before concluding , her mum hugged her, telling her not to go because they just found her so it was decided that Sarah will spend a month with her abroad.

After going to her room, she made plans.

And she also informed saphira of her going abroad and they decided to meet at a coffee shop a week before layla's departure.

Mom I'll be going soon she informed Sarah as she got dress , byeee Layla said as she smacked a kiss on her mother's cheek.

After 2 weeks at the Martins family, Layla has been living her best life in years . Today was the day she decided to meet saphira.

Upon entering the coffee shop she sited saphira, who in turn was surprised to see a radiant Layla

Layla just smiled.

As they waited for their cappuccino, Sarah informed her if a lot of things she missed and the shocking news was her scumbag ex boyfriend asking of her contact and trying to reconcile after breaking up with his girlfriend. Layla was disgusted at the thoughts of Dean coming back to her life.

They talked about everything as saphira cried when she heard about what Layla has gone through . So after lunch they went to the beach as they drank the wine with low alcoholic content saphira sneaked from home. After 5 cups they were totally wasted after all they were minors. So Layla called her brother because if her mum knew she was dead.

Luke was surprised to see the rebellious side of Layla. But he told her he was on his way.

When he got to the beach he saw Layla and her friend.

After getting in the car, saphira hugged Layla and they both started crying.

When saphira got home wasted she was grounded.

While Layla was told not to go anywhere until she left for school.
