I was startled by Goyi's sudden cold laugh. "Ingrid, bringing a physical body in and out of the Demon Ridge is extremely inconvenient. Just like the last time I brought you in, Taimir still managed to detect us, and I had no choice but to send you back. This time, I decided to only bring your soul. But if you truly cherish your body, I can think of a way to retrieve it in a couple of days."
"No! I want it back now!" I demanded decisively.
"That’s impossible. Taimir is probably looking for you right now. We can’t leave," he said, his voice firm.
"I don’t care! Without my body, what’s the point of being alive? And don’t think you can make decisions for me. I’ll never marry you. I’m leaving now!" I declared and turned to walk out.
