Chapter 25

Enzo Freeman looked nervous and anxious as he sat in his office in his large house in the Italian city of Naples, while Carlo was sitting calmly as usual in front of his desk. They were discussing the plan that Carlo had cleverly devised; Enzo trusted Carlo a lot, as he was his right-hand man in the arms trade and who would resolve all pending or thorny matters for him anywhere in Europe. He was also his friend before anything else, as they had grown up together in the corridors and alleys of Italy twenty years ago. But Enzo was heartbroken, especially since the departure date of the Queen steamer was very close, as there were only ten days left until the trip to the United States. Carlo tried to reassure Enzo with his confident words, saying:

- I see that the plan is very solid and there is no need for this anxiety that provokes me a lot.

- We are risking everything, Carlo.

- It is still in our hands, my friend.

- How?
