Chapter - 26

It was late at night. Kaito’s body felt heavy, exhaustion settling deep into his muscles. His eyes burned, his limbs ached, and his mind, usually sharp and calculating, was now clouded with fatigue.

After such an intense session, the weariness was inevitable. His body gave in, dragging him into the comforting embrace of sleep before he could even think further. His consciousness faded, swallowed by the abyss of rest.

Morning arrived, and the soft chirping of birds reached Kaito’s ears. The sound, gentle and melodic, stirred something within him—a rare moment of peace. It was soothing, almost comforting, as if the world itself had momentarily forgotten its cruelty.
