Kaito didn’t waste the opportunity.

"[Dark Spear]"

A long, jagged spear of condensed shadow energy formed in his hand. With a swift motion, he hurled it straight into the monster’s open mouth.

The spear pierced through the creature’s throat, impaling it with a force that sent it crashing into the ground. The beast writhed, its body thrashing violently as dark energy spread through its veins, eating away at its insides.

As the sensory effect wore off, the snake roared in agony. But Kaito wasn’t done.

He leaped onto its head, summoning another spell.

"[Cursed Hellfire]"

A crimson flame erupted from his palm, unnaturally cold and deadly. He slammed his burning hand against the snake’s skull. The flames spread instantly, devouring the creature from the inside out. The monster shrieked, its massive body convulsing as cursed fire reduced its flesh to ashes.

Moments later, the snake collapsed, lifeless. Smoke rose from its charred remains.
