Then we both stepped out of the lab, and as I looked around the house, I noticed something strange—there was only one empty camera inside. Dust clung to every surface, the air was stale, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. It was the biggest room in the house, but it was barely livable.
I turned to Sylra. “You can stay here.”
She raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by the state of the place. Without another word, I raised my hand, and with a simple wave of magic, the filth vanished instantly. The walls became spotless, the air freshened, and even the faint scent of lavender filled the space. The dull wooden floor gleamed, and the furniture that had been buried under grime now looked brand new.
Sylra glanced around in awe. “That’s convenient,” she said, crossing her arms. “I suppose this will do.”
Just as she started inspecting the place, a realization struck me. Oh shit, the alchemy materials!
