Chapter - 84

“That’s more like it," Kaito muttered, smirking. He gripped the Revenant Fang Blade tightly, feeling the weapon hum with power.

The monster, despite its wounds, let out a reverberating shriek and lunged at Kaito, its massive jaws parting to devour him whole. But Kaito was faster. He disappeared and reappeared above the creature’s head, twisting in midair as he slashed downward.

The Revenant Fang Blade bit into the monster’s skull, its cursed edge drinking deeply of its unnatural essence. The blade pulsed with eerie red energy, its thirst for life evident. The monster flailed violently, but Kaito rode its movement like a phantom, unshaken.

"Still not dead?" he mused, landing gracefully as the creature recoiled.
