The Jungle Breathes

The dense jungle, now alive with the hum of drones and distant echoes of approaching vehicles. The team moves swiftly through the undergrowth, using the natural terrain to evade pursuit.

The undergrowth shifts under their feet as the team presses forward. Every sound—every movement—feels heavier than it should.

Bintang whispering. "Stay low. We’re being herded."

Felix gritted his teeth. "I can feel it too. But from where?"

Eka is checking her scanner. "The drones should’ve spotted us already. But they’re avoiding certain areas." She glances up, uneasy.

Kiran stares at the comms screen, fingers tapping furiously as encrypted data floods in.

" Bintang … This doesn’t make sense. Someone else is piggybacking on our frequency—watching us, but not interfering."

"Not yet."

Eka's eyes narrowed. "They’re testing us."

Felix freezes mid-step, his grip tightening on his weapon. In the treeline, distant figures stand motionless, just beyond clarity.
