Chapter 35

After leaving the bandit camp, Su Zu looked for her horse and found it. This time, she rode back the way she had come to head northeast at night. Su Zu did not light any torches that night because the moonlight was so bright that it made the journey not difficult for her or her horse at all.

In the morning, Su Su let the horse stop and have a drink of water and grass before setting off again. She sat there eating some dried meat and thought about leaving the mountain path and seeing if she could run on the normal path, which would save her some travel time. Su Su had been in the mountains for a month now, so she wanted to try going out on the normal path in case she could meet some people and ask for directions.
