"Why Inside the Classroom?"
"Why inside the classroom?
Why, why!!!
"Why does it have to be inside the classroom? Why don't you show up somewhere else? Why inside the classroom? Are you deliberately trying to embarrass me in front of everyone?"
Aliff was very angry now. He stood in the middle of the park, hitting the tree in front of him with full emotion.
"What's this? Early in the morning and already angry for no reason. That tree did nothing wrong, you know!"
The voice of an old man suddenly sounded from behind him. Strangely, Aliff did not feel the old man's presence at all.
"When did this person get behind me?" Aliff thought to himself, glancing suspiciously behind him.
"Who are you?" Aliff asked.
The old man didn't answer; he just smiled at Aliff.
"This person is very strange. I better get out of here," Aliff thought.
Without saying anything else, Aliff left the park. The old man just smiled, watching him leave with an unreadable expression.
Aliff went into the bathroom, washing his dirty hands. He looked at the mirror in front of him, his eyes fixed on his own reflection.
He saw his own white eyes. His eyes looked like those of a blind person.
He stared at his own eyes with hatred.
"Damn eyes..."
Suddenly, a voice from behind startled him, and he quickly covered his eyes with his hair.
"Aliff! You!"
The voice came from Naim, his roommate.
"Why didn't you wake me up earlier? I'm late for an important class this morning! My teacher scolded me terribly, my ears are still ringing!"
"Who told you to go out late at night? Blame yourself," Aliff replied coldly.
"That's my hobby, you should know that. And your hobby, on the other hand, is to wake me up in the morning. Understand?"
"Since when was my hobby waking you up?" Aliff replied with a cold voice.
"Come on, Aliff, you're my best friend, you should wake me up in the morning."
"Nonsense, I'm not your alarm clock, you should know that."
The two of them were now walking towards the canteen, sitting at the dining table. Naim sat across from him, continuing to chatter.
"Do you want to know what happened last night when I went out with my friend?"
"What happened, actually?" Aliff asked while eating fried rice.
"Last night I went to an abandoned house that supposedly, if you enter, you'll never come back."
"Do you know what happened after my friend and I went in? Instead of meeting a ghost, we met an old man who scolded us for entering the house."
"Because of him, we didn't see any ghosts in that abandoned house."
"I was all ready to take on those ghosts bare-handed," Naim said confidently.
"Ohhh, I see..." Aliff just ate, uninterested in Naim's story.
Suddenly, they both fell silent for a moment.
"Hi! Can I sit here?"
The person who said hi was Naim's friend, Anna, who was also Aliff's classmate.
Anna had just finished her class.
"Please," Naim replied.
Anna sat next to Naim.
"Hey, Naim, did you upload last night's video yet?"
"Upload? For what? There's nothing in the video, not a single ghost."
"You... you said you wanted to be popular. If you want to be popular, you have to be a bit patient. Just upload the video, even if there's nothing in it. Understand?"
"One day, we'll definitely be famous worldwide."
"You're too confident," Naim said.
"Are you uploading it or not?" Anna looked at him with a cold stare.
"Alright, I'll upload it later, devil girl," he thought to himself.
While they were busy talking, Aliff saw a small creature approaching Naim's food. Only he could see it. Aliff grabbed the creature and tossed it away.
The creature was very small, like a kitten, and Aliff easily discarded it.
"Hmm..." Anna and Naim looked at him.
"What did you just throw away, Aliff?" Naim and Anna looked at him curiously.
"Nothing," Aliff answered briefly.
"I see..."
"Hey, didn't you have a class today? And why did you leave early, Aliff?"
"Eh! That..." Aliff was confused about what to say.
"What should I tell her..." he thought.
"Nothing," Anna suddenly helped him. "The class was very boring. I wanted to leave too because it was so boring."
Aliff was confused. They didn't know each other well, but why was she helping him?
"Anyway, thanks for helping me," he thought to himself.
"Oh, is that so..."
After that, Aliff continued eating his fried rice.
"Alright, Naim, I'll see you tonight, okay? Don't forget."
"Yeah," Naim replied.
"Okay then, goodbye." Anna left the two of them.
"Aliff, I think you should come with us tonight," Naim suddenly said.
"Eh?" Aliff looked at him with a blank expression.
"I know you probably like ghost stuff or whatever, right? Especially since you're good at fighting, do you want to join us?"
"No, I'm too lazy to go out at night," Aliff replied firmly.
"Hey, Aliff, come on, join us."
"If I say no, I mean no, do you understand?"
Naim's mouth was suddenly stuffed with a cucumber, making him silent.
"Okay, I understand," Naim said with a disappointed face.
After that, they both finished their meal.
8:00 PM...
The sound of a door opening could be heard.
The person entering the room now was Naim, who had just come back from outside.
Aliff was reading a novel he bought while sitting on his bed.
"Bro, bro, bro... Do you want to know? I met a really beautiful girl just now; she's also kind and gentle, unlike Anna."
"Ohhh, really..." Aliff replied.
"You... can't you listen to your best friend's story?"
"Oh yeah, Aliff, don't tell me you're gay, okay?"
"What are you talking about, idiot," Aliff replied with a cold face.
"How should I put it? You seem uninterested in women, so I thought maybe you're gay, someone who likes the same gender."
"If you talk about gay again, I'll kick you out of this room."
"Come on, I was just joking..."
Naim sat on his bed, opened his desk drawer, and took out a cigarette.
As Naim was about to light his cigarette, Aliff looked at him with a cold stare, making Naim immediately scared.
"Hahaha, sorry, sorry. I forgot you can't smoke in this room."
"Very scary," Naim thought.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Aliff asked.
"I don't know," Naim replied.
Aliff approached the door and opened it.
"Hi."
"Hah!!!" Aliff looked surprised.
"Hey, what are you doing in the men's hotel?" Naim asked.
The person who appeared was Anna.
"I've been waiting for you downstairs like a fool, you know? Hurry up and get ready," Anna said with a cold voice.
"Sorry, sorry, I forgot about you," Naim said, then changed his clothes.
Aliff returned to his bed, reading his novel again.
Anna suddenly looked at Aliff.
"Hey, are you busy?" Anna asked while standing at the door.
"Very," Aliff replied.
*Busy doing what? You're just reading a novel now, Anna thought to herself.
"Hey, do you want to come with us? I heard you like the same stuff as us."
Aliff pretended not to hear.
Anna, who was getting annoyed, came in front of him and shouted, "Hey, I'm talking to you, you know!!!"
"Let's go, Naim." Anna pulled Naim's hand and left the room.
"What's with that girl?" Suddenly Aliff's eyes lit up, and he could also feel an evil aura following Anna and Naim.
"Hmm, I'm very lazy to go out at night."
"This is very troublesome," he said, scratching his head.
