Chapter 8

Nighttime at Hotel H... The reason why they were at a hotel was because Hotel H was identical to the original hotel. Inside, there were three floors, each with six rooms, and in each room, there were two beds.

There were two Hotel Hs, one for the boys, and the boy's hotel was not too far away, just next door. Also, if they wanted to shower, they had to leave their rooms and go downstairs, as both Hotel Hs had bathrooms on the first floor. Hotel H was also very close to the school.

In Anna's Room...

Anna had just come out of the bathroom, went upstairs, and entered her room. But suddenly, the ring on her finger glowed with a red light.

"Eh! What's happening?" Anna felt her body become very hot all of a sudden, as if there was a fire burning inside her.

"Hot, hot, hot...

"What's happening to my body?..."

"I don't know why, but my body suddenly feels very weak." Before she could think further, Anna fainted and fell to the floor. A few minutes later, she woke up again.

She stood up and left her room.

"Hey Anna, where are you going at this hour?" asked her roommate who had just entered the room.

Anna didn't answer. She just walked straight ahead, ignoring her friend as if she were in a trance.

"What's happening to Anna? I need to do something. Anna's acting really strange today." At that moment, Anna's friend went to the boys' hotel, went up to the third floor, and went to Naim's room.

Anna's friend called for Naim who was in the room, and Naim opened the door.

"Huh! What are you doing here? You are one of Anna's friends, right?" asked Naim.

"Yes, I'm Anna's friend. Something's strange with Anna today. She suddenly became weird after I entered the room. Then she left the room, and when I asked where she was going, she didn't answer and just left."

"Then why didn't you stop her?" a voice suddenly appeared from behind Anna's friend.

"Aliff, where have you been?" asked Naim.

"You don't know," replied Aliff.

"It's not that I didn't want to stop her, but my body suddenly started trembling when I tried to approach her," answered Anna's friend.

"Aliff, what should we do?" asked Naim.

"I'll go find her," replied Aliff.

"Then I'll come with you," said Anna's friend.

"You should go back," replied Aliff.

"But I want to come and see how she's doing."

"If I tell you to go back, then go back," said Aliff coldly.

At that moment, Anna's friend fell silent.

"Alright," she replied...

After that, Aliff went to find Anna.

Aliff went down from the third floor, as he shared a room with Naim on the third floor, and after going down, he entered the forest surrounding Hotel H.

After walking quite a distance into the forest, Aliff stopped and stood still. He looked around.

"How long will you hide? Come out. I know you're here!" said Aliff with a firm voice.

A few moments later, someone emerged from behind a tree.

That person was a woman with long hair, wearing a black dress.

The woman was Anna.

"Hey Aliff, what are you doing in this forest?" she asked in a soft voice.

"It seems like the being inside Anna's body can mimic Anna perfectly, even her voice," thought Aliff to himself.

"Haah, no need to pretend to be Anna. Who are you? Why did you enter this woman's body?" Aliff asked, his eyes sharp as he looked at her.

"Hehehe, so you've figured it out?" Anna's voice turned deeper. Her eyes changed to red, adding to her eerie appearance.

"Oh, it's been a while since I've met a creature like this. Turns out you're a creature that can speak. I wonder how long it's been since I encountered a creature like you," said Aliff, his demeanor calm.

"I'm surprised too. How can you understand the language of creatures like me? That's very peculiar. Who are you really? Human? Or are you not human?" asked the creature controlling Anna's body.

"It seems you've been watching me all along. I never expected you to be in Anna's body. If you're asking who I am, why don't you try to find out yourself? Am I human or not?" replied Aliff with a slight smile.

"Uh, where am I now?..."

Anna woke up in a dark place. Her current condition was lying down, unable to get up or move at all. Her body felt heavy, as if something was pressing down on her.

"What's happening to my body? I can't move at all. Someone, please help me," Anna's voice was weak, almost like a whisper. She tried to move her hand, but there was no response. This situation made her even more panicked.

"Calm down,"

Suddenly, a voice appeared.

"Who are you?" Anna asked.

"You don't know who I am, but you'll be saved by him later."

At that moment, the voice disappeared.

In the Forest...

"It seems, if I want to know who you really are, I'll have to find out myself. Alright then,"

The creature controlling Anna's body moved towards Aliff with speed that human eyes couldn't follow. Its movements were fast and slick, as if it were floating in the air.

"Die!!! Human!!!"

The creature swung its right hand towards Aliff's face, but Aliff managed to block it with his right elbow.

"As expected, a creature that can talk is strong. It's been a while since I fought a creature like this," he thought to himself.

"You're trying to attack me with that method?" Aliff said in a cold tone, his eyes hidden by his hair still focused on the creature.

Aliff grabbed the creature's right hand and tried to pull it, then attempted to punch the creature's face. However, before his attack could land, the creature suddenly vanished.

"Disappeared?," Aliff whispered to himself, his eyes scanning for where the creature had gone.

"Where did it go?..."

Suddenly, the creature appeared from above and kicked Aliff's head hard. The kick produced a loud sound, causing Aliff to fall to the ground.

"Incredible speed,"This creature is really strong," Aliff whispered to himself, but he remained calm.

The creature tried to attack Aliff lying on the ground, but Aliff managed to dodge quickly. He pulled the creature's hand once more and tried to attack, but once again, the creature disappeared.

"Disappeared again," said Aliff as he stood up, his eyes scanning for the creature.

"Now where will it appear from?..."

Suddenly, the creature appeared from behind Aliff and grabbed his neck with its right hand. With extraordinary strength, the creature flew high into the air, taking Aliff with it. They entered deeper into the forest.

"Do you think you can win this way?" Aliff asked, his voice remaining calm even though he was being lifted into the air.

The creature didn't answer. It threw Aliff from the height, causing Aliff to fall rapidly.

"Boom!"

Aliff landed hard, smashing several trees around him. The impact sound echoed throughout the forest.

"Ouch..." Aliff groaned in pain. His head was injured and bleeding. He slowly got up, using his right hand to wipe the blood flowing from his forehead.

"It's been a long time since I've had an opponent that could hurt me. It seems this will be very enjoyable," Aliff thought to himself.

"What is this! Is this all you can do, human? I thought you were very strong, but it turns out you're just an ordinary human who can see creatures and understand our language," the creature said mockingly.

"I'm very disappointed with your current state. This is boring," added the creature as it slowly descended from above and approached Aliff.

Aliff just stood and watched the creature approaching.

"Hah, why are you talking as if you've already won? Do you think I've already used my true power?" Aliff asked, his voice remaining calm.

"I just want to see what kind of power you have. Now, show me your other powers," Aliff said, his eyes hidden by his hair beginning to glow.

"Don't tell me this is all your power. That would be very disappointing," added Aliff with an expression that remained flat.

"Now let's begin again," said Aliff calmly.

"Alright, if that's what you want," said the creature, starting to get serious. Its body began to emit a very strong aura. Suddenly, strong winds began to swirl around it, forming a large whirlwind like a tornado.

"It seems you're getting serious too. Alright, now I'll get serious," said Aliff, his eyes hidden by his hair beginning to glow brightly.

"Then I'll use a little of my power," said Aliff, as his eyes lit up.

The creature launched the first attack, sending a strong wind wave towards Aliff. Aliff jumped to the left side, dodging the attack quickly.

"Missed, missed, come on, attack me again with another power," said Aliff as if mocking the creature.

"Just because you can dodge those attacks, you think you're very strong. Let's see how long you can hold on," said the creature mockingly.

"Unfortunately, I am indeed very strong, so strong that I can hardly be defeated by creatures like you. Even since I was a child, I was already powerful," Aliff's eyes focused on the creature, his glowing eyes starting to emit an even stronger aura.

"Don't be arrogant, human!!!," it said angrily.

"This is actually fun, but unfortunately, I have to end this child's play,"

"You talk as if you can kill me whenever you want,"

"Indeed, even though you're very strong, you're still weak in my eyes,"

At that moment, Aliff's expression became serious.

When Aliff got serious, suddenly the creature felt something terrifying was about to happen,

"What is this! Why do I suddenly feel strange?" the creature felt as if its body was sinking into an immeasurable darkness,

"Now, it's my turn to attack," said Aliff before launching a counterattack with incredible speed.
