Huff, huff, huff... Where am I? What happened to me? I looked around, but all I could see was darkness—endless darkness. Then I glanced at my body and was shocked. My body was gone. In its place, there was only a white line. I tried to move, but it felt like I was floating in one direction. I didn't know where I was going. Sometimes, my line-like body would flicker and take the form of an empty void.
I kept moving without any sense of time, slowly forgetting everything about myself. As I drifted on, there was only one thing I could remember about myself: no matter what, I didn't want to forget my name. My name is Adarsh.
Bzzz…
Suddenly, Adarsh saw lights of various colors all around him. The colors kept shifting rapidly. His line-like body started merging with the surroundings.
[Ding!]
[System has received pure energy.]
[System activating: 1%...10%...30%...77%...95%...100%.]
[Power system activated!]
Adarsh slowly regained his senses. He looked around, trying to figure out where he was. Then he glanced at himself—and what he saw filled him with rage. He had turned into a flower!
"What is happening to me?" Adarsh yelled in frustration.
[Ding, ding, ding!]
Adarsh heard some words echoing from deep within his soul. Curious, he focused and saw a series of details about himself:
[Host: Adarsh
Species: Divine Blood Lotus (Divine)
Tier: Final
Ability: Can host a virgin girl and be reborn as a child.
Status: Critical
Lifespan: 1 month remaining]
[Remaining Divine Power: 12%]
[Mission: Use Divine Power to be reborn as a human.
Reward: Control power.
Time limit: 1 month.]
Seeing this, Adarsh took a deep breath. His existence as the Divine Blood Lotus had no means of moving from that place. Completing the mission seemed like the only way forward, and quickly at that.
Adarsh started using his remaining Divine Power to scan the surroundings for a virgin girl who could host him. However, his scan revealed that he was in the Void—a place where nothing existed except for the colorful lights emanating from him.
To expand his search, Adarsh increased the power of his Divine Scan. As the scan intensified, he detected an object: a glowing white stone moving rapidly in one direction.
Then his scan picked up a massive object emitting light—it seemed to be a neutron star about 13 to 14 miles in size. Next, he scanned a medium-sized star, around 1.6 million kilometers wide, and then a massive star, nearly 1 billion kilometers in size. His scan revealed countless stars, billions of planets, and many lifeforms, but no sign of humans.
Ten days passed during his search, using up 4% of his Divine Power. Adarsh realized that if he continued like this, his power would be depleted before he could even find humans.
Suddenly, his Divine Scan picked up a disturbance—a crack in the Void. He investigated but found nothing visible. Confused, he wondered how something could cause ripples in his scan.
Determined, Adarsh used 2% more Divine Power to stabilize his scan and take a closer look at the disturbance. He discovered a massive Void Shield covering the area. He examined the shield carefully, searching for any gaps, but found none.
Ten more days passed, and another 2% of his Divine Power was consumed. With only 10 days remaining, Adarsh felt increasingly desperate.
Crack... crack... crack...
A faint sound caught his attention as a small crack appeared in the massive shield. Wasting no time, Adarsh used more Divine Power to send his essence through the crack and into the Void Pocket beyond. While his power entered the crack, no information returned from it.
With little time and power left, Adarsh made a bold decision: he would enter the Void Pocket himself through the crack, even if it meant risking everything.
