Raymond's mother widened her eyes, instinctively trying to move back, but there was nowhere to go. The way they had just teased Valentina left her no excuse.
"Oh, you old fool," she muttered under her breath, her cheeks flushing, but before she could protest any further, Raymond's father pressed a light kiss on her lips.
Immediately Valentina clapped her hands together, laughing brightly at the scene.
"This is so romantic!" she exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with admiration.
"Even at this age, you two are still like newlyweds. I love it! I'm going to make sure Raymond and I are just like this when we grow old together."
Raymond glanced at her, a small, amused smile tugging at his lips.
"Oh? So you admit we're a couple now?" he teased.
Valentina nudged his arm playfully, her laughter soft but genuine.
