Chapter 34 I Was Threatened!!

"What's going on, Lorraine??" Jasmine panicked, Nicole threw her a look as she walked out of the kitchen with an apple in her hand.

Nicole sat on the couch, watching Jasmine pace around, talking to Lorraine, Nicole made a mental note to ask how come the two of them were still in contact after so many years of him disappearing on her.

With a strained voice, Lorraine bitterly complained. More like whining," I was kidnapped and beaten by your insane husband who—"

Jasmine cut his words the minute he called Kingsley 'insane'. "Point of correction, Lorraine, my husband is not insane!" Jasmine stood close to the window, glaring outside.

Lorraine grumbled inaudibly before continuing. "Well, he had men beat me up and after that, he threatened me to leave the country in three days else he would ruin me. Jasmine, please help me."
