Kingsley remained mute. The tension between him and Gabriel Marshmallow, who was sitting across from him, was intense.
Gabriel's eyes were on Kingsley while Kingsley's eyes were lowered to the ground. His hands clutching the file in his hands. His grip on the paper almost shreds the file.
He was conflicted. All of his thoughts are spamming into his head and moving too quickly. His breath was becoming uneven but he maintained a calm face, not giving Gabriel enough entertainment.
After another eternity of silence, Kingsley raised his head, his now stilled eyes landed on Gabriel. "How sure are you about this??"
Gabriel frowned a little in displeasure as if Kingsley just insulted his mother. "Are you doubting my skills now??"
Kingsley screeched. "How sure are you that this is accurate??"
Gabriel gritted out. "I'm a hundred percent certain. Though I'll try to dig into it more. I think something is fishy."
