"Hello little Willi… dressed to impress as always from what I see" -the eldest alpha praised him while smoking a fan leaning on the hood of a Roll-Royce Phantom VIII-
"You are nobody to say that" -William would respond neutrally observing his aunt dressed in a tailored branded suit- "when it comes to standing out you are the first to do so"
"Mmm… maybe" -Veronica would cross her arms- "In my defense, it is something we do naturally without looking for it… it is part of the Aballay charm"
"Whatever works for you… just hurry up" -the alpha would pass by his aunt and get in the back of the car-
"Wait" -the alpha would uncross her arms and throw the fan on the ground where she put it out stepping on it and then getting in the car as well as closing the door- "as time goes by you become more and more impatient"
"Impatient… hater of the impractical I call whatever you want" -William would look at his cell phone carefully-
"You know that both Sarah and I only said the thing about the bar as a joke… but if something is going on where you have some kind of problem or complication you can talk to either of the two" -Veronica would look with a little softness at the same time that she put a hand on his shoulder- "I know that we are not your parents and that neither of us wants to take their place, but since they died in that shooting… both of us came to see you as a son… a responsible and competent adult son"
"I know… believe me, I am aware of everything they did for me" -the alpha would sigh putting aside his cell phone- "and both me and my parents, wherever they are, thank you very much… right now I am in a complicated situation, which hypothetically may or may not have to do with a very special woman and…"
"And you don't know how to approach her without scaring her because she is "in a world very different from yours" -the eldest would add in a knowing tone-
"How?"
"Your situation, hypothetical or not, is the same as what happened to me with my beloved Sarah" -Veronica would look at the roof of the car while her eyes shone- "I remember it as if it were yesterday… I was just starting in the family business and had to get flowers since I had to attend the funeral of one of the heads of the family. It was there that our paths connected, she worked in a flower shop that I entered by recommendation... I swear that the first time our eyes met I instantly felt a connection much stronger than the one we feel for the few close ones that become members of our pack"
"(Instant connection... that's the same thing I felt when I saw Erika)" -William would think remembering his encounter with the silver-haired omega- "(she knows what she's talking about)" -the black-haired man would now look at his aunt with surgical concentration-
"From there, despite what anyone can say about the bearing or indifference with which I acted about my crush, I remember being a bundle of nerves only being able to maintain the appearance of composure thanks to years of practice... I remember the stupid things I did to get her attention" -the alpha would snort laughing at herself- "but above all, I remember the fear of hurting her either directly or indirectly due to the type of life we have. The mere notion of scaring her or having to abandon her terrified me… I spent so much time in my indecision on how to proceed that I almost did something crazy"
"What happened?"
"Becoming part of the Aballay family may sound like it is one of the best things that can happen to you" -the older black-haired girl would narrow her eyes seriously- "but one of the things that is hidden from the public is that when we find our partner or fall in love we love with everything we have… so much so that we become very dangerous if we are rejected or if we are separated for too long… listen to me, William. Whatever happens, whatever happens, you must act with caution and care because otherwise, you will regret it" -Veronica would growl at the same time that she would hold her nephew's shoulders with both hands-
"I understand… I will make sure to do it" -William would nod understanding the warning his aunt gave him- "(I already feel firsthand the first symptoms of this obsession… but I don't think it's in the same way that it affected her)"
"Good" -Veronica would release her nephew, unaware of the thought he had- "now let's put all this aside for the moment and finish with those vultures so that each one can go their way to do whatever they have to do"
"I agree… Bentral!!" -the black-haired man would call his close friend who moved away from the car when he noticed that something he shouldn't hear was about to happen- "drive please"
"Yes sir" -the blonde-haired alpha would get into the car, sit in the driver's seat, and then start driving, leaving the main property of the Aballays, being escorted by a small convoy made up of 2 trucks in front and 2 cars behind-

After a 20-minute trip, the convoy stopped in front of one of the buildings that served as a facade for the family business, which was packed with journalists, all of them eager to get a statement that they could exploit or oversell.
And it was no secret that the Aballay family had lent a significant sum of money to the Esbarts, which they had not made their return.
The reporters practically jumped on the duo of alphas the moment Bentral opened the door for them to get out, with cameras and microphones in front of their faces. William would hate it if he wasn't a little used to it. Everyone would want answers about things they weren't even remotely familiar with.
"Ladies, gentlemen please calm down…" -Veronica would raise both hands causing everyone around her to wait for silence- "of course we heard about what happened to the youngest member of the Esbart family, which is certainly a tragedy indeed. The Aballay family gives its deepest condolences to the family and as a gesture of goodwill we will grant them an extension of any existing loan" -the alpha would speak naturally and with superficial compassion while placing a hand over her heart- "from here we hope that young Brandon recovers soon from the violence suffered in the night in his place of residence… we hope that it does not repeat itself or that something much worse happens to them"
