"You didn't have to interrupt your first day at work to take care of me sister" -Melina would say with a voice barely above a whisper while she was lying on the bed in the room she shares with her younger sister- "I could have managed on my own… first impressions are important"
"Meli, you're burning up with fever and you can barely open your eyes… whatever you say and whether you like it or not, you need me. Nothing in the world is more important than taking care of you, and I didn't miss anything important. Today was just the preparation day for the presentation at the bakery, nothing I can't get back" -Erika would shrug her shoulders downplaying what was said while changing the rag that the little girl had on her forehead with another wetter one-
"But... ah... ahg" -the little alpha would try to protest, but would start to cough causing her to grab her chest in pain and discomfort-
"You see?... what's more, I'm sure that if Rose hadn't managed to call me you would have locked yourself in the bathroom next to some ice suffering in silence until I arrived" -the omega would squint a little looking sadly at the minor who would look away- "Melina we already talked about this... I don't like you suffering at all when I can do something to avoid it"
"Me... neither... you... ahg" -Melina would try to answer failing in the process- "(damn... you are supposed to be someone who heads the top of the hierarchy you should be better than that… how are you supposed to protect your family if a simple headache and slight dizziness is enough to knock you out)"
The self-critical thought of the little alpha would cause her much displeasure towards herself. Feeling very disappointed since the only thing that kept her from exploding was the presence of her sister in the room.
"I'm going to prepare something for you to eat. I'll be right back." -the eldest of the Belions would bend down and leave a small kiss on the forehead of the youngest, moving the cloth a little, leaving behind a little of her pheromones, seeking to calm her down and lessen, even a little, her pain with these- "Now stay there and don't do anything or I'll get very angry with you, young lady."
"O-okay."
"That" -Erika would nod happily, stroking Melina's head- "That's my little second in command." -she would congratulate as she got out of bed, leaving the room and going to the kitchen, closing the door as softly as possible-

Erika sighed as she walked to the kitchen, she ran into Rose who was walking back and forth restless and nervous biting her nails.
"Rose, I already told you that you shouldn't bite your nails... it's bad for you" –the white-haired woman would grab the aforementioned girl carrying her in her arms-
"Is Meli going to be okay?" –Rose's voice would be heard muffled from the older girl's neck where she would rub herself a little wanting to be closer to where her pheromones come from-
"Oh, honey... you were scared when you found your sister sick, weren't you?" –the omega caressed her little sister's back feeling her nod against her neck- "Relax, you know Melina as much as I do... she's too strong to let herself be defeated by something like that"
"Really?"
"Really" -Erika confirmed, releasing a few small purrs as she rubbed her cheeks- "Now, how about you help me prepare something for your sister so she can get better faster?"
"Yes!"
Seeing how her suggestion managed to distract her little sister, Erika sighed in relief, allowing herself to relax and enjoy the happiness she radiated.

Spending awake at night alternating between sleeping and checking on her sisters. It could be something complicated for some, as impossible for others. For Erika, in a certain way, it was something she became accustomed to and to which she had a certain level of practice that made her quite competent.
After cooking and preparing, with a little help, something light to eat for Melina, she ended up falling asleep after the fever she felt went down thanks to the effects of the medicine that the eldest gave her in the food, knowing that the aforementioned, even in her condition, would refuse to take them of her own free will.
Rose followed her sister moments later in the realm of dreams, being tucked into her bed by the white-haired omega with great care.
The eldest Belion sister decided to place a lounge chair in the room with some of her pillows and bring a light sheet so she could lie down on it to spend the night, wanting to be as close as possible to be able to react in case an emergency occurred.
From time to time between intervals in which Erika woke up for moments she would check the state of Melina's temperature and then go back to sleep until she woke up again, repeating the same process over and over again throughout the night.
What she didn't notice was that while she was making one of her rounds the little alpha woke up but decided to pretend to be asleep, she felt firsthand the unconditional love and care that made her shed a tear feeling many feelings at the same time.
The little alpha, after hearing how her sister's breathing became regular again, got up from her bed with great care and approached where she was resting with mysteriously silent steps and observed her.
Her state made her clench her small fists since not only did she have what seemed to be the beginnings of dark circles around her eyes, but the sheet that had to protect her against the cold was lying on the floor hanging on one of the armrests of the lounge chair.
Taking a breath and forcing herself to calm down, she took the sheet and covered the omega, giving her a light kiss on the cheek as gently as she could.
After doing so, she returned to her bed and lay down, falling asleep a few minutes later.
