"I see you're still as unpunctual as ever, Zandermont" -William would speak, looking at the aforementioned with some amusement while crossing his arms-
"You already know how I am, Will-Will" -the alpha would smile sideways, nodding at the aforementioned as a greeting- "Why don't you ever bring little Deimos?"
"Because bringing him would mean throwing out the window any kind of seriousness or professionalism that remains with your presence" -the Aballay would mock, shaking his head slightly- "it's already hard to put up with them separately, so not even if the sky falls I'm going to put them both together in the same place"
"Party pooper!" -The purple-haired girl would close her eyes and make a face wanting to make her discontent clear- "At some point, I will get my way and I promise I will steal Dai-Dai from you"
"(Good luck with that… that idiot is a tick that will stay stuck to my side until I can't get the last drop of blood out)" -William would mock, chuckling-
"Going back to what we were talking about before someone interrupted us…" -Brandon would speak this time raising his tone a little, drawing the attention of those present- "As far as we know, the interim governor didn't have the slightest idea about the new law"
"How sure are we that that sold-out ball of butter is still on our side?" -Cerval would ask raising an eyebrow and then commenting in a dissatisfied tone making clear his opinion of the governor- "it is possible that he could come to think that with more direct intervention he can leave us aside now that the money does not satisfy him or justify the risk"
"I can confirm that to you" -Lauren would raise a hand without opening her eyes- "his secretary could give a lot of interesting information about him… it is impossible that the idiot wants to play us with this… because it turns out that he is doing his own business in our territories with the help of certain street rats who are mysteriously well prepared to pass under our radar at the right time through the right routes"
"That's very curious" -Ezequiel would look at the purple-haired girl out of the corner of his eye- "it just so happens that I caught one of those rats selling fairy dust in one of my alleys… the bastard committed suicide with a pill he had between his teeth as soon as my men caught him"
"Rats that know what hole to get into and that have a disturbingly firm loyalty" -William would tap repeatedly on the table with the tips of his fingers- "This seems curiously familiar to me"
"You don't mean that…" -Dairon would open his eyes in surprise-
"It seems that those arrogant idiots are back" -Lauren would open her eyes and smile from ear to ear- "that stupid occultist from San Diego must have left an heir before Will-Will beat him to death"
"Lucky bastard" -the Aballay would curse, growling between his teeth, causing everyone to shiver the presents-
"I-I don't mean to sound uncultured just for the sake of it, but… who are we talking about?" -Cerval would look somewhat embarrassed and fearful as he asked, glancing at William-
"Dormetailet Wolm… an ancient, widely specialized group led by a manipulative occultist known as Democles who knew very well how to exploit the weaknesses of each person he came across… bringing them to their lowest point and whispering in their ears just what they needed to hear" -Brandon would comment in a calm voice despite the fire that seemed to burn in his eyes- "that idiot was a thorn in our side that we couldn't get rid of for a long time until…"
"Until the occult trainer made the mistake of wanting to mess with Will-Will and he crushed him like the pathetically pitiful worm that he is" -Lauren would finish still with her smile seeming to enjoy the heavy atmosphere that there was- "I would have loved to see in the front row the face that clown made when he realized how screwed he was"
"Whatever" -Ezequiel would clear his throat- "we must coordinate them to make all the rats, whether or not they are from Dormetailet Wolm, fall into the mousetrap at the same time so that not a single one escapes us"
"Do what you want" -William would get up from his place walking calmly towards the exit followed by his escorts- "I'm going to make my preparations"
"And… he left" -the purple-haired alpha would take his wrist and fix his gaze on a watch- "Meh, it lasted longer than I expected"
"Much longer" -Dairon agreed nodding and then leaned back and crossed his arms- "we must prepare ourselves too… when William finds them we will surround them and finish everything"
At what was said, everyone agreed deciding to end the meeting, each going their way.

Melina was not a happy alpha gamma in the least at the moment.
Now she is not only indisposed and in a weakened state that left much to be desired. But now she found out that some random alpha was after her older sister.
First giving her beautiful flowers and now a delicious dessert, both gifts being precisely her sister's favorites.
Everything is fine on that side... but the supposed suitor was missing something of vital importance... he did not show up to her relatives to ask for permission... more precisely he did not come to seek the approval of the family alpha.
That notion upset something inside the minor, making her want to growl and confront the person responsible for making her feel this way.
If only she could find a way to locate him to give him a slight lesson and a warning or two, wanting to make it clear to him that no matter who or what he is, if he hurts his family he would have a very bad time.
He couldn't even allow himself to be guided by his sensitive nose, as for some reason he couldn't detect the scent of the pheromones embedded in the gifts, even though he knew they were there.
It was frustrating as well as interesting, as a feeling of anticipation began to appear within him as he encountered such an enigma for the first time.
