CHAPTER THIRTEEN

"We do not discriminate here!" Cael's voice thundered out startling everyone. Tilly flinched in his arms and buried her faced in shoulder. "The person that made that statement stepped out right now!"

The hall went dead quiet, a lot of the members had their heads bowed in submission. Before the situation could escalate, a new voice cut through the tension and silence.

"An omega is a blessing to a pack, regardless of whether they can shift or not. We are not one of those packs that chose to ignore the goddess gifts and look down on our kind in the name of status."

Elisa turned just as Mary Morgan, Cael's mother, stepped forward, her gaze warm but authoritative.

"This girl has spent her life not knowing what it means to be one of us. It's up to us to show her the joys of being a shifter. Maybe we'll even help her connect to her wolf and maybe she may even shift one day."
