The sun cast long shadows across the dirt road as Arjun, Kesar, and Ishaan made their way toward Bhainswal. The journey was supposed to be straightforward, but Arjun's system alerted him with subtle warnings.

"Something feels off," Arjun said, his eyes scanning the dense forest flanking the road.

Kesar, walking beside him, tightened her grip on her spear. "We're not alone. Someone's watching."

Arjun nodded, his system confirming Ishaan's observation. "Let's avoid the road for now. We'll find a spot to observe and act if needed."

The trio moved silently into the underbrush, finding a vantage point overlooking the road. From their hidden position, they spotted a group of armed men emerging from the forest.

The leader, a man with a scar over his eye and a confident stance, issued orders. "Stay sharp. Our target should be passing this way soon. We'll make quick work of them and claim our reward."

Arjun's system flagged the group's vulnerabilities and provided recommendations.

"We need to split them up," Arjun whispered. "Ishaan, can you create a distraction nearby?"

Ishaan nodded, moving carefully to a spot further into the forest. Moments later, he mimicked the call of a startled animal, breaking the group's focus.

"Check it out," the leader ordered, sending two of his men toward the sound.

Kesar used the opportunity to strike. Her spear struck true, disabling one of the remaining guards. Arjun followed, using his enhanced reflexes to disarm and neutralize two more. Ishaan's arrows found their marks from a distance, ensuring the encounter ended quickly.

The leader, now cornered, dropped his weapon and raised his hands.

"Who are you working for?" Arjun asked, his tone firm.

The man hesitated before speaking. "I was hired to stop anyone heading to Bhainswal. That's all I know."

Arjun's system indicated that the man was holding back, but it wasn't the time to push further. He bound the leader and left him by the road for the local authorities.

By midday, the trio arrived in Bhainswal. The village was larger than Kaligarh, with bustling streets and a thriving marketplace. Blacksmiths worked at their forges, and farmers tended their fields with diligence.

At the village gates, a tall, authoritative woman named Suman greeted them. Her sharp eyes examined Arjun and his companions with curiosity.

"You must be the travelers from Kaligarh," she said. "What brings you to Bhainswal?"

Arjun stepped forward. "We're uniting villages to stand against the oppressive rule in the region. Kaligarh defended itself successfully, but we need allies to ensure lasting strength. Bhainswal's reputation for skilled fighters and artisans makes it a key part of our efforts."

Suman crossed her arms, her expression thoughtful. "We've endured hardship, like many others. But why should we risk everything to join your cause?"

Arjun's system provided him with persuasive options.

Suman studied him for a long moment. Finally, she said, "Your words carry weight, but actions speak louder. If you truly want our support, deal with the raiders troubling our northern farms. Then we'll talk further."

The raider camp was deep in the forest, hidden among dense trees. Arjun's system highlighted the positions of guards and their likely routines.

Under the cover of night, the trio moved into position. Kesar's first strike was swift and silent, while Ishaan's arrows took down key guards. Arjun charged in, using his system's predictive abilities to counter every attack.

The raiders, caught off guard, fell one by one until the camp was secured.

Back in Bhainswal, Suman listened to their report and nodded in approval.
