CHAPTER5

Roxanne's P. O. V

The whole week I have been busy with the café since the person I employed took a live because her mother has been sick so she wanted to visit her only relative and also take her mother to the hospital. Her name is Abigail and I employed her because of her hard work, pretty face to attract people in the café and her optimistic behavior while her partner Kistian is handsome youth who is also hardworking.

My friends arranged a blind date for me , well they always say I have to find someone who can make me happy and who I can share my problems with. Well all I can say about Leila and Christina is that they are both hopeless romantic who likes reading love stories and always says " Not every man is bad or like your father there are men out there who are faithful and would do anything to protect there families so listen to us just open your heart a little bit and you will see the goodness of the people and the world we live in and your fate might be better than that of your mother you just have to have faith in yourself and the people around you. "Sometimes I would ask them how come they are so optimistic when they have been heartbroken many times but they always retorted , heart break is a part of life how will you know if you haven't experienced it, when you are heartbroken is when you will also know the sweetness of love later when you meet someone made for you. Those are just things I never want to believe in anyway so I will just prepare for the date and just like the others reject them and move on seriously no big deal right. So when I left the cafe I told them that this will be the last date I will attend , well I can say I just agreed to make them happy and not bother with arranging dates for me anymore.

When the weekend arrived I just wore simple clothes and went to the restaurant my friends had prepared the date. She I arrived I asked the waitress to take me to table number six which had also been booked by my friends. When u reached the designated place I greeted the person politely and when I looked up I found the man whom I met at the bar, the person who made me embarrass myself so much. Well it's not bad he seems to be a good person. He introduced himself as Aiden and I introduced myself again. We chstted until it was late and went our ways, well I remember the deal we made before living that we would pretend to be dating so that our friends won't make up blind dates again which was no problem to me since it would help a lot.
