CHAPTER 29

Its been a week since Roxanne left Aiden's home and went back to hers, life has been good and they have both been texting each other to know how they are since they missed each other and could not say it directly. Especially Aiden he missed Roxanne a lot, all the talks the laughter and the things he missed the most was her cooking and her stories. The stories which seemed normal when she was telling them is what he misses and the soft voice when she spoke about her mother accompanied with the shining eyes as if they were stars in those dark pupils which looked like the night sky. He missed the way they used to sneek into the reservoir at night to look at it and the way the sight used to seem beautiful and the way she used to say that it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen , looking happily while taking pictures to show off. He missed the late night movies which he started watching after her arrival at his place and lastly he missed her a lot and always looked forward to her texts asking how he was doing or asking about5he neighbors she used to be close to. It was then that he realized that life wasn't normal but much happier for him when she was around and even the old man next door kept asking about her, their like for Roxanne took him off guard especially how they used to be overprotective about her as if she was their own child. Their impression on Roxanne was good and talked about how her was like a proud parent talking about their children's success.

Aiden realized later that she was a bundle of joy in his life, a happiness he never wanted to admit now existed in his life, a happiness he was afraid of and even more afraid that it would disappear one day without a single goodbye or a happiness that might be taken away from him and worst of all a happiness he was afraid to let go of. He wants to hold onto Roxanne and be by her side making her happy he wanted to be more to Roxanne but he never knew how much he wanted her to notice him around so many people and friends in her life. He wanted to be with her all the time and to make it worse he was feeling something he never knew how to define in his life, something he has never felt around anyone else in his life and never knew what the feeling was which made him be confused for the first time in a long time. He was afraid to ask since he was more afraid to hear what the answer might be so he kept it to himself and the only thing he knew was that he missed Roxanne's presence in his house and justified himself by saying that he missed her since she was fun and liked talking to him a lot and also since he never lived with anyone it was common to miss a person he lived with right, that's how his mind worked and told him it was right.
