Ch.12 Immortal Path(3)

"Haa, I really am the worst, judging a gentleman with the heart of a villain,"

Yucheng muttered in the cave after the figure of his master disappeared for a while. If the information that was passed to him was all true, then he understood the general flow of events.

Sometime around a thousand years ago, my master was helped by the ancestor of my father's family when he was injured.

To repay this debt my master wanted to take that person as a disciple but alas he didn't have any cultivation talent.

So he gave the amber stone and the Space bag to the man and told him that if a talented man appears in his family he will take him as his disciple.

Although I don't have any direct blood relation to the family due to my master probing into fate he saw the general flow of the relation between my father and me.

Plus I had a cultivation talent so, he fulfilled his promise and took me as a disciple. As for the things in the bag, adding to the things he had additionally given he continued to add useful things when his cultivation increased.

So this space bag can be said to contain a small part of his wealth which can make a nascent soul realm cultivator drool liters of saliva.

"Well then..."

Yucheng muttered as he started to manage the piles of things in front of him. The cultivation books that numbered ten were kept on the side.

The pill bottle contained high-ranking mortal pills that are useful for cultivators at the golden cultivator stage and below.

Now for the real treasure, he had collected 100 lesser-ranking spirit stones, plus adding the 10,000 lesser-ranking spirit stones it could be considered a small fortune.

But that wasn't the thing in his eyes, the things that made his eyes shine were the remaining 110 spirit stones.

A hundred of them had a silver light shining from their center indicating their grade as middle-ranking spirit stones.

A single middle-grade spirit being world equal to a hundred thousand lesser-rank spirit stones was already an astronomical wealth.

Adding to the spirit stones that had a golden glow coming from them, if this news spreads even someone higher than nascent realm stage may come to loot his wealth.

They were high-ranking spirit stones, each equal to a million middle-ranking spirit stones. But that wasn't the main reason it was so shout out for.

The main reason for this exchange rate is the golden glow that flows out of them, as it contains the charms of the law of heaven and earth.

"Master truly is generous."

Yucheng sighed again as he put all the spirit stones in the space bag, he now felt obligated to slap himself.

"I really have changed....."

Suddenly Yucheng muttered in a melancholy tone, in his previous life he never would have had just thoughts.

He was the kind of person who always moved toward the top, seeing all as a chess piece and stepping stone for the success and success he did get.

He finally sat on the throne of power he wanted to sit on, but the only feeling that was left for him was sensation of the cold throne and the weight of the bloody golden crown.

He knew he had taken the wrong path but he never regretted it, after all, he wasn't the kind to regret his past decision.

Stubborn if you may call him, so he broke down his throne in the sky and walked toward the ground again.

He always walks forward, so he shall mend his wrong path and force it to take the right one.

Alas, the weight of the crown was too much for a throneless one to bear and he never succeeded in returning to the ground again.

"Well,... "

"Forget it...."

"I am Yucheng He, after all. A son of a farmer and the one who will start his cultivation journey today."

"And I shall take the path I desire today."

He spoke, somewhat in a dim voice at first, before the voice got louder and louder and it turned into a declaration.

A declaration to no one but himself, to his current self, and to his past self. After all, he isn't the one to make the same mistake twice.

Unknown to him his soul shone with a grand radiance, a sound of broken shackles were heard as all his burdens he carried from his previous life were removed.

His calm eyes changed as they gained a radiance, a radiance a young man of his age should have.

...

Far away in a place so far away from Yucheng that it should even be dared to be counted rows and rows of majestic mountains stood.

Each mountain a million kilometers tall looking like a dragon back rested on the earth, atop those mountains hundreds of thousands of outer disciples were minding their own businesses.

In the central mountain, a joyous mood hung a hundred outer disciples stood atop an array. They all had a large smile on their face as other outer disciples looked at them with envy and jealousy.

After all these hundreds of outer disciples will become inner disciples today and reach the location of the real sect's ground.

The outer hall elders looked at the formation and seeing everything was ready channeled his spiritual energy to the jade disk in his hand.

The formation glowed a gentle blue color as the figure of the hundred outer disciples disappeared turning into beams of light as they pierced through the cloud.

Hundreds of millions of kilometers above the ground the rays of light finally found their destination.

A large majestic continent floated in the sky, although called a continent it was bigger than most planets in sheer size and landmass.

In this continent the Dao Walking Sects truly lay, protected by a massive formation it was wishful thinking to find it by flying alone.

And in this continent, ten mountains like the fingers of the Buddha pierced through the sky above reaching up to unknown heights.

In a secret room of one of the mountains, a figure sat in close door cultivation as he tried to break through to a higher realm.

Suddenly the man's eyes opened as a divine ray passed, penetrating through untold distance he glanced at the figure of Yucheng.

"So, that's my disciple."

"No bad..."

He spoke in a lazy tone as he lay down on a soft cushion, a look of satisfaction appeared in his mind as he took out a glass of juice and drank it.

He watched all the performances of Yucheng after his split soul disappeared, he in a single glance saw changes in his soul.

"Good disciple, I thought those chains would be a hurdle for you to face in the future but you destroyed them so soon."

"Truly deserving to be my disciple."

He praised as he took another ship of the juice in the glass, a look of satisfaction appeared on his face as he enjoyed the flavor of the juice.

"Well, Although I don't know what had shackled you. It's good that you have passed it."

"Now, as your master, I bless you on your cultivation journey."

With that, the figure of Yucheng from his eyes disappeared, after all, he can't peek at his disciple at ever moment.

"Well, then let's get back to cultivation other those old fossils will truly skin me like a pig."
