"Hmm, you always know how to convince me. Okay, guess what the good news is about."
"Um, hey, you know I'm not good at guessing, so, just tell me the good news you have, Sofia."
"Okay, there's a birthday party coming up tonight. Just shout for a party!"
"Oh! No! Sofia. So, tell me. What's good about this birthday party coming up tonight, young lady?"
"Just look at you, Sophia. Everything is good about having an invitation to the rich kids' birthday party in their mansion, girl."
"So, all your interest is about the mansion or what, tell me?"
"Um, you know. There will be expensive drinks, you know, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, baby."
"Hmm, so is that all, baby girl?"
"No girl, you know, the best foods, cakes, dancing and romancing. Hey, there will be a lot, Sophia."
"Oh, I see. But I don't like attending parties, Sofia. Just go and have fun girl, I will wait home. Maybe studying or something, Sofia."
"So, you don't like parties because your parents didn't allow you to attend, right? Hey girl, you are at university now and, besides, no mother, father, no relatives here to control your life, so stop it please."
"Hmm, no father, no mother or any relatives here to control my life because my parents died in a car accident some months later when I completed high school level, girl."
"Hey, are you serious, Sophia?"
"Yeah, I'm serious and why should I joke or lie about this, and did you know how I love my parents?"
"Aw, hey I'm sorry about your late parents, Sophia. I really know you and your kidding acting sometimes."
"Hmm, you know. I can never joke in such situations about my parents, Sofia."
"Yeah, and I can see how serious you're, girl. But I'm really sorry baby girl. This is so bad."
"Don't worry about them because they're dead and gone forever. Hey, it's fine Sofia. Let's forget the dead ones and focus on our life. "
"Hey, so who was the woman who came to visit you the last time, Sophia?"
"That was Amelia. The sweetest sister I ever had in my life. Amelia has been superb and supportive to me ever since our parents died years ago."
"Hey, are you for real?"
"Yeah, for real, Sofia."
"Oh, I see. That's nice, but I thought she was your mother because she really looks familiar just like my ma'am."
Sophia laughed and said, "Hey, don't be stupid my dear. How can you compare your old mother to my older sister? Your mother looks older than my sister, trust me. And besides, Amelia is just 24."
"Okay madam Sophia. But that's what I saw the last time she visited you. And I remember when she was living in this room. She was like, "Hey little girl, don't be following bad girls, no attending parties, no alcohol, no boyfriend and always your books as your friend." [Sofia]
[Both laugh]
"And I was just sleeping on the bed having my right leg on top of my left leg, pretending I couldn't hear her talking because I know definitely, that lady was throwing all her words at me."
"Yeah, and I know Amelia was talking about you because your appearance tells her that you are a bad girl. I have been living with her for a long time, and I really know how she sometimes behaves, and I don't know if it's because of the work she does. Hey, I'm sorry about that, Sofia."
"So, what work does she do, Sophia?"
"She works as an FBI officer back in the states."
"Hmm, that was a crazy comment she was passing to me, girl. And I wanted not to mind her because I thought she was your mother, Sophia."
Sophia smiled and said, "Amelia is not my mother, but I will say naturally she's my mother and also my dad. Because I had no mother, no father to tell me whenever I'm wrong, even pay my school fees, but she does it all, Sofia."
"Aw, I'm sorry about your parents. And I can see how nice your elder sister is. Because taking the responsibilities of a bad girl like you is not easy work to do. Just that I didn't like how she threw an indirect insult at me in the first place."
"Okay it's fine. Hey, did you just say I'm a bad girl?"
"Yeah, Sophia. But I'm not lying."
"Okay, but I think my big sister too didn't mention your name when speaking to me, the last time Sofia."
"Yeah, she didn't, but you and I definitely know she was talking about me, baby."
"Hmm, that's how she is. Amelia always feels like advising me and I love her for that, Sofia. "
"That's why I said she looks familiar like an old lady. Always advising."
[Sophia snickers]
"You really sound crazy. Hey, let's stop gossiping about my big sister and talk about something different."
