Back at home, the quartet was wondering what the director of the school wanted with Nolan.
"Hey Nolan, what did the director wanted already?" Asked Shawn.
"Nothing." Answered the boy simply.
"So you're called in the director's office for nothing?" Replied Flora.
Nolan fixed his eyes on the blonde girl. He started to get pissed by her.
"C'mon, we're all in the same boat here." Took back the girl. "We have to know what's happening for each other."
Nolan answered nothing. Instead, he started to leave.
"Hey! I'm talking to you!" Replied the girl by grabbing the dark haired boy's wrist.
But as soon as she grabbed his wrist, Nolan reacted violently by grabbing himself Flora's wrist and squeezing it so firmly that he was hurting her. His reaction shocked everyone. But even more, since the eyes of the boy became empty. Just like when he was with that boy in the bathroom...
"Let go of me! You're hurting me!" Shouted out Flora.
Nolan took a certain amount of time before releasing the girl's hand from his grip. Without adding something, he turned and led upstairs to his bedroom. The quartet stood silent, confused by what just happened.
"Are you okay?" Asked Iris, concerned for the blonde girl.
But Flora didn't answer anything. She kept her eyes on the stairs, thinking about Nolan. Why did he react like that? And most importantly, what happened with that boy? thought the girl. More and more she started to be concerned by Nolan. But not concerned as if she was worried. Concerned of him as a person. She started to doubt of him.

In the boy's bedroom, Nolan sat on his bed. He closed his eyes, trying to clean his mind. But a noise was heard. A mumbled noise. It looked like... voices? No. It wasn't. But what if? He didn't know. Him? Them? Who knew? Voices? Real or not? Complicated to say. But it became louder and louder. Harder. It was mixed. It looked like multiple voices. Or all the same one? A sudden notification sound was heard. Nolan opened back his eyes quickly. He turned his head to the nightstand aside the bed. His phone illuminated. He grabbed it and looked at it. On the screen, a notification was present: ''Don't be afraid to show yourself.''. Nothing more, nothing less. Only those six simple words.

The evening arrived quickly and Nolan didn't show himself after what happened. In the kitchen, the quartet prepared the meal for tonight. But as all talked about everything and nothing, Nolan suddenly arrived in the kitchen. At the same time, Flora turned to the table when she stopped. Her eyes crossed the blue ones of the boy. Quickly, the others noticed Nolan's presence. A silence took place for a moment. The threesome wondered what was going to happen. But Nolan simply held out a package to Flora. It was well decorated. With a white paper and a red ribbon.
"What is it?" Asked the girl, confused.
"It's for you."
Flora was hesitant. What could be this package for? Despite this sudden gesture, she grabbed it. Seeing the neutral face of the boy, she understood that she had to open it. So she did. Inside, she discovered pastries, all being red. Something already seen.
"Pastries?"
"I'm sorry about earlier." Took back Nolan. "I didn't control myself and it was wrong. This is to apologize."
"You... You're weird." Admitted the girl. "But thanks. I appreciate the gesture."
"Hey can we have pastries too?" Asked Shawn, kind of jealous.
"I only made one for Flora." Said the boy.
"Oh..."
"But I can help you cook." Proposed Nolan, showing quickly more enthusiasm.
"Yeah, it could be great to cook together again!" Said Iris.
"Let's go! Everyone in the kitchen!" Finished Calvin before the threesome turned to it.
Flora and Nolan stood silent for a moment. But as the boy started to lead to the others...
"Nolan." Declared Flora before the boy turned back to her. "If something is wrong... You know that you can talk to us, right? We're friends."
"I know." Answered the boy, smiling.
Then he joined back the others. But despite this kind gesture of him, Flora still looked doubtful. She gave a look at the pastries. Still with the red, she thought. But maybe that she could give him his chance. After all, he was the youngest. Maybe that he just struggled to acclimate to this group. Despite those questions, the group of five continued to cook. They decided to prepare a cake. After all, what was better than something sweet? Nolan took care of crashing the strawberries to make a juice with them. But the boy decided to do it bare hands, without the machine. As he was crashing the fruits, his hands became red.
"Nolan it looked like you've just killed someone!" Declared Shawn, laughing.
The dark haired boy smiled. He liked that sentence.
"He killed strawberries." Replied Iris.
"Be aware, maybe you're next." Joked the youngest with a naughty smile and coming closer to Shawn, as if he was about to hurt him.
"Wow, wow, stop your crazy show. I want to eat this cake first."
All laughed. It looked like Nolan reached to open more to the group. No surprise. They were not knowing after all. They didn't know. At least... for now...
