ASCC-Chapter 28 The Legal Loli First Senior Sister

The voice came out of nowhere, startling Ryoji as if the person had materialized right behind him.

Her footsteps were eerily silent, her presence almost ghost-like, appearing at his side without a hint of warning.

Ryoji froze, his heart racing.

There was no way his luck could be this bad, right?

Like an old, rusty machine, he turned his head awkwardly.

Before him stood a petite girl, her height barely reaching his chest.

No— calling her a "girl" was generous. She didn't even stand taller than 1.4 meters. Her small stature made her resemble a life-sized Barbie doll.

Her tiny frame was dressed in a white kimono adorned with cherry blossom patterns, topped with a striking crimson haori. The vibrant contrast made her look dazzling, though the oversized kimono hung loosely from her shoulders, exposing large swaths of her delicate skin, including her collarbones.

Her jet-black hair flowed freely down her back, tied with a large, bold red ribbon. On her feet were simple geta sandals, clacking softly as she moved.

In her hand, she held a small folding fan, its surface concealing the lower half of her face, revealing only a pair of sharp, dangerous eyes.

Despite her diminutive stature and childlike appearance, everything about her radiated danger. Her presence was overwhelming, and while "loli" might describe her figure, her aura was anything but innocent.

Without a moment's hesitation, Ryoji turned and bolted.

He didn't dare linger, terrified that a moment's delay would land him in the clutches of this Witch.

"——Jibakujin!"

But before he could get far, a sharp, tender shout reached him from behind.

In an instant, a crushing gravitational force descended upon him.

The pressure was immense, making Ryoji feel unbearably heavy. It felt as if his organs were being compressed, his blood flow disrupted, and his entire body overwhelmed by the weight.

In just one breath, he found himself unable to move. The oppressive force concentrated on his lower body, threatening to bring him to his knees. His legs trembled violently under the strain.

"Oya? It seems your skills have improved. You can now barely withstand five times gravity?"

The loli's voice was sweet, laced with intellect, but her words carried an unmistakable undertone of displeasure.

"Still, your reaction just now was most displeasing. I went out of my way to come and see you, Little Junior Brother, and you turned tail and ran? Do you hate me that much?"

Her expression twisted into something vicious as she began to interrogate Ryoji.

"How could you so casually slander my reputation?"

Glaring at her, Ryoji struggled to control his tongue and facial muscles under the oppressive weight, forcing himself to speak.

"My respect for First Senior Sister is as clear as the heavens and earth. How could you think so poorly of me? I'm deeply disappointed!"

"Then why did you run?"

"I was rushing back to the dorms to collect my laundry."

"..."

Her expression went blank for a moment. It was still broad daylight, with no signs of wind, rain, or thunderstorms. Clearly, he was spouting nonsense.

"It's been years, but you're still as unreliable as ever."

She waved her folding fan lightly, and the crushing pressure vanished in an instant.

Ryoji glanced at the legal loli, who now shook her head helplessly. He briefly contemplated using his Absolute Divine Speed to escape.

No, that wouldn't work.

To outrun her, he would have to push his speed to the absolute limit. Doing so would leave him in a near-death state, just like when he used Lightning Flint.

Besides, given that they would inevitably cross paths again in the academy, escaping now would only lead to greater trouble later. At that point, he wouldn't even have the chance to defend himself.

This demon of a woman had been preying on him since he was a child. When he was bedridden and unable to move, she would frequently dress him up in all sorts of outfits to satisfy her bizarre obsession with costume play—er, correction: she would put him in different clothes purely for her amusement.

First Senior Sister's personality was unabashedly bold.

She was the type to directly and shamelessly express her desires, throwing herself at whatever or whomever she fancied with unreserved enthusiasm. She wasn't shy about exposing her various fetishes either.

If she managed to get even the slightest dirt on him, Ryoji's life at Hagun Academy would be utterly ruined.

"Cough, cough... First Senior Sister, what are you doing here?"

"Didn't I just say? This one came specifically to see you."

"No, I mean, why are you at Hagun Academy?"

"Oh, that? It's because Kuu Chan drove out all the former Director's allies. With no one left to rely on, she was desperate, so this one came to help."

The legal loli lightly waved her folding fan, smiling sweetly as she explained.

Though her tone seemed gentle, her smile sent a chill down Ryoji's spine.

The way she looked at him— it was predatory, like a tiger eyeing its prey, ready to pounce and tear it apart, without allowing the slightest resistance.

The apex of the food chain, the eternal hunter.

This was Saikyou Nene.

Despite her youthful appearance and petite stature, which gave her the aura of a loli, Saikyou Nene was, in reality, a woman of 27 or 28 years old. For some reason, however, her physical development seemed frozen at an elementary schooler's level.

But don't be deceived by her childlike frame or seemingly harmless demeanor. Saikyou Nene was a bona fide active Magic Knight. Not just any Magic Knight, either— she competed in the League-sponsored KOK A-Rank Tournament and was currently ranked third in the world, making her one of the most formidable Blazers alive.

She had graduated the same year as Shinguuji Kurono, and the two had simultaneously entered the KOK League, both achieving top-tier global rankings.

When Shinguuji Kurono retired four years ago after getting married, Saikyou Nene took her place, securing the world's third position, a rank she had steadfastly held ever since.

Saikyou Nene wasn't just the most accomplished disciple of the legendary God of War, but also a source of immense pride for her master— a Blazer of world-class caliber.

Her prowess was evident in her abilities. She was a Nature Interference-type Blazer specializing in gravity manipulation, capable of magnifying gravity beyond 100 times its normal force. She could even pull meteors from outer space, unleashing the catastrophic Noble Art Hadou Tensei, which was powerful enough to destroy an entire nation.

The destructive potential of Hadou Tensei was so immense that the League had classified it as a designated forbidden technique, prohibited from use without explicit League authorization.

In other words, Saikyou Nene was not just Ryoji's First Senior Sister— she was a bona fide superpower in her own right.

Saikyou Nene and Shinguuji Kurono were both rivals and friends.

Their legendary clash during the Seven Stars Sword-Art Festival a decade ago was nothing short of divine. In the final match, Saikyou Nene had defied League regulations by activating Hadou Tensei, nearly destabilizing the tectonic foundation of Japan itself.

Fortunately, Shinguuji Kurono had countered with her own Noble Art, World Crisis, shattering the meteor along with the surrounding time and space. This left a massive black hole in the area, which remains unrecovered to this day, rendering the venue a forbidden zone.

Shortly after, the League classified World Crisis as a designated forbidden technique as well.

In hindsight, Ryoji's victory over Shinguuji Kurono had been a stroke of incredible luck. She had initially underestimated him, and before she could fight seriously, he had deciphered her moves and defeated her with a single Lightning Flint strike.

Had she gone all out from the start, Ryoji would have had almost no chance of winning.
