Frank would spend most of his time in Anna's room but at the same time, he was vigilant enough to keep watch over Layla. After all, he had a responsibility for her safety and he won't compromise it for anything.
"When he'll be returning?" Layla asked in a displeased tone when another week passed and yet there was no whereabouts of his arrival. She was having her monthly cycle and even when Michael didn't contact her even once, she would snap at anyone at any time.
"I'll make him speak today. Okay?" Frank asked caressing her head to which she smiled however he caught sight of her dulled eyes as she was leaving. Just how much more torment she had to go through?
Returning his gaze back to Anna, his eyes softened as he tucked in a strand of her hair falling over her face. He sighed at her ordeal although he was grateful enough; she could died that day and he won't be having her by his side that day.
